I don't want to trash this movie. It was clever. Good acting too. It just took a long time to get to the punch line. On the other hand, it had to. That was the whole point. I won't give it away but just have to say that these kinds of horror flicks are just not my favorites. This one was a lot like Zodiak, the movie that depicted real murders by a serial killer. Real horror. I prefer fantasy horror. A neat trip out of reality such as any ghost story. Just silly fun. Good scares. These that demonstrate actual violence against innocent people whether based on true stories or not, really CREEP me out. Regardless of my personal taste, this was well done and deserves 4 stars as a super horror experience.

If you loved "Creep" you will love this one

If you loved "Creep" you will love this one, it's hard to make a sequel to a film that's so interesting but director/writer Patrick Brice pulled it off along with the talented Mark Duplass. I love how this film starts, it puts you right in the feel of the first one. Although if you saw the first movie you know instantly what is going on and that's what I love about this sequel it gives you some of the old and a lot of new. I've watched this film a few times trying to figure out when Aaron/Josef is lying and when he is telling the truth and it's haunting how manipulative he is to get a certain reaction out of whoever is in his presence. The character of Sara is perfect to go toe to toe with Aaron, she's not easily scared and she doesn't fall into the typical "woman in horror film" outline. As much as you wanted to distrust Aaron it's hard not to in fact if I met a person like this in real life i'd fall into the same trap the others have. That's what I love about this character, you meet weird people like this every so often where they seem crazy but loveable and you find yourself wondering if by interacting with them is somehow going to ultimately decide your fate. Bottom line, if you loved the first one you will enjoy this one. I purchased the dvd of it and was a little disappointed by lack of special features, all that is included is a trailer. I'm one of those audio commentary nerds and I loved the commentary from the first film and I was hoping to hear some on set stories........I know there must of been a few! But either way definitely watch this! I wonder where the third one will take us. #butimasfreindlyasarabbit

Waste of time

Why would one even waste their time making this movie? This is something that a film student produces and then realizes how terrible it is. This should come with a warning label: Dumb and Boring... The guy sitting on the bench at the end of movie doesn't know someone is behind him putting a large mask with an axe, yeah right.

Fans of Creep will love this equally unsettling sequel.

I loved the first "Creep" movie. I love Mark Duplass (his movie 'The One I Love' is one of my favorite movies ever) and I think his character in Creep is BRILLIANTLY TERRIFYING.
Why?
Because he is so sincere and honest that as a victim, you'd have a hard time determining whether you are in danger or if this guy is messing with you. I love watching Duplass in this role.

Creep 2 is a great follow-up to the first one. I was apprehensive going in but it definitely had the same feel. Interesting dynamic with the new videographer. Liked the end and that it set up for a Creep 3. However, please, don't make this a 10-installment franchise. We are nearly the point where it may be too much.

Good but not as great as the original

DEFINITELY not as good as the first one but honestly not that bad. It still has it's creepy parts but not as many as the first film. Mark Duplass did fantastic at playing the creep again though I wasn't as impressed with Desiree Akhavan's role. It wasn't her acting that was bad per-say but the character she had to portray was oddly emotionless about 75% of the film where most people definitely wouldn't be as calm and unfeeling given the situation. It was entertaining to see Mark Duplass meet his match though. While it's not fantastic, I'd still recommend watching it. Definitely worth the watch on a night you have nothing to do, you won't be bored.

Does what a good sequel should

Amazing. Watching the first one for context is probably a good idea, but this may be able to stand on its own.
It's a phenomenal sequel because it doesn't simply replicate the first film, it shows the evolution of our main character and adds a lot of depth to his backstory and motivations.
It also treats it's viewer an an intelligent one, it knows we know the twist from the first film and doesn't waste a second trying to pull the same trick.
I think the ending of the first one packs more of a punch than this one, but it's still an incredible watch.

Just about as good as the first, it's a must see for horror fans that are into a little bit of comedy during the seriousness of horror. This one is about a girl victim who turns out to be just as hardcore as he is. Don't want to spoil this one for anybody but think of a stalemate in chess. Enjoy.

Only the last five minutes worth watching. I have bought over a thousand movies in my life and THERE WASN'T ANY AS BAD AS THIS ONE. I gave it a MINUS 10 but they won't let me give it. I would rather watch a rat crap than to watch this!
