Recommended to me by Amazon due to this being my favorite reading genre. I saw all the 5***** for it. Well it was a mistake! It's no "Silence of the Lambs" or "Red Dragon" and I have read them all. This author can't write! (( Specific annoying word thoughout the whole book, BOOGALOO!!!))

The characters are: (1) hypnotherapist, (2) possible serial killer??? (3)profilers from US and UK hunting for some other serial killer? (4) girfriend embezzles from CO. The author is trying to blend all this together in a very long drawn out novel at the same time. Jumping so quickly back and forth I can't even remember the name of the profilers. The plot is not even realistic! Hypnotherapy treatment for a serial killer.........

If you read my book reviews I am never a spoiler, but they is nothing to spoil. I skipped to the ending for the author of this book to tell me he is also a possible serial killer? Thats it!(( I am an avid reader and never read a worst book then this.))
Don't be fooled by marketing...... This book is a joke. Please save your money.........

Seriously horrible writing. There is no way the five star reviews on here are real. This book is graphic and vile just for the sake of being graphic and vile. It is obviously written by someone who has watched a lot of horror movies and is trying to imitate them. He does it very badly. I got this book for free, and it wasn't worth the price. Deleted from my Kindle.

I don't enjoy being tricked into reading books. This is precisely what happened when I saw so many five-star ratings and glowing reviews. I would like to point out that every five-star review and 2 out of 4 of the four-star reviews appear to be fakes. What are the chances they found this book so engrossing that it was the ONLY one they chose to review, ever? Hmm....

As for the book, I made it half way and could read no more. The dialogue was contrived and much of it didn't translate well to American English. There is nothing terribly thrilling about the storyline and at times it seems silly and implausible. I also could not find anything interesting about the characters. I try not to be hurtful in writing reviews but I feel like anyone who pays $9.99 for this is getting ripped off. The author should really be offering this much cheaper. Luckily, I happened to get it for free the other day.

I have to agree with the other reviewers although I did get the book free (when it was one of the free ones) so I figured why not make up my own mind. You know we all have opinions but mine might not be yours so I prefer to take a gamble and see what I actually think about something. Well this book is terrible! I made it through 11% on the Kindle before I called it quits. If the typos and bad writing doesn't get you then the awful character development will. I mean seriously... do NOT waste your hard earned money on this one!

I don't even know where to start on this critique because all the points are equally bad.

I picked it up because I was looking for something a bit in the 'psychotic' thriller genre, adn with the opening forward of "This book is not for the faint hearted, will induce nightmares, etc...etc...", How could I resist? The only thing I can't resist is putting it down because now I have to see how this laughable trainwreck with no real point ends.

There is nothing scary about this book to give you nightmares. It is so over-the-top in gratuitous swearing and senseless killings, I can't help but wonder if the excess in bad language was just used to up the count, or the author had just finished a marathone of Quentin Tarintino films.

The plot is, or lack thereof, is all over the place. From the opening scenes of ridculous car chases, and killings, each chapter tries to outdo the preceeding one by pure shock value. Seriously, the only reason to pick up this book is for sheer laughable non-entertainment, or for any aspiring writer to read and then do the exact opposite when crafting their own novel.

That being said, I admit, I can't put it down....only for its absuridty factor alone. Points of view and time frames shift with no warning. Killing with no motivation. Graphic and tasteless sex just to say "its in there", because it adds zero value to moving the book forward other than turning the page.

wow this was BAD. It was painful to read until the ending. It was werid and didnt make sense. I wouldnt read it again even for free. There is no way someone could pay me enough to read the rest of the trilogy (i think it is). Whoever made any comparision to Silence Of the Lambs was WAY off. Dont waste your time.

This novel didn't thrill me at all. I found it boring. Just a chain of events alternating between indiscriminate gory killings and crude, repulsive sex: page after page of it. Characters were undeveloped and there was no real plot. The ending is vague and inconclusive. Obviously the author wants to churn out more of the same! This crap cannot be compared to any of the Hannibal Lecter novels.

I can't think of a single positive comment I could make on this book. The "story" is just a rambling narrative that leaps from character to character and place to place without any indication where all this jumping about is leading. Personally, I don't think it could be re-written to make an acceptable book. One star is much more than this one deserves.
