Cressi was founded in 1946 as a diving company rich in innovation, product design, development and manufacturing. An entirely family owned and operated Italian brand, Cressi was the first company to produce items such as the diving mask with dedicated nose pocket, and the adjustable open heel fins. Currently, Cressi created four subdivisions like Diving, Spear Fishing, Snorkeling and Swimming that are designed to fulfill the needs of the most demanding clients. The passion that stimulated the owners to start the company is still present and combined with the most advanced technology results in best and reliable products!
Palau SAF Set
Palau adjustable short fin + Onda mask + Supernova Dry snorkel
The Palau SAF set is ideal for any recreational snorkeler. The Palau open heel short blade snorkel fins are made for use with bare feet and provide outstanding comfort and versatility. The open-heel design means each fin can accommodate a wider range of sizes, so family members or friends can share equipment more easily. The short fin is an excellent choice for the avid traveler as the short blade is lightweight and compact, making it ideal for packing with ease. Equipped with the fins are the Onda mask and Supernova Dry Snorkel, both made of Soft Hypoallergenic Transparent Silicone.

Short Blade VS Long Blade
Although Short Blades are compact and easy to travel with, they require more energy to kick. Short Blades will also not move you forward as quickly as a long blade fin.
Long Blade fins allow easy forward propulsion with less energy needed, allowing you to stay in the water longer without exhaustion.
Benefits of a Dry Top snorkel
The Cressi dry snorkel has a special valve on top of the tube that completely seals out all water when a wave comes over, or when you dive underwater. That way, you don’t have to clear the snorkel when you come back to the surface. For double protection, the top has a Splash-Proof Dry Guard.

My complaint is with the fins. The strap on the back was constantly coming off, and I would try to press the buckles back into place, hoping for a "snap" as the plastic buckle was placed over the retaining button, but no matter how hard I pushed, it never seemed to lock into place. While wearing them the tension would keep it in place, but every time I took them off, hanging onto the strap was a problem. Sure enough, lost one of the straps, fortunately on the last day. So upon my return, went on Amazon to order a replacement. Ten dollars for the strap itself, and ten dollars more for the plastic buckles. Really Cressi? Really? I'm to pay 1/3 of the price of the whole snorkel/fin/mask package to replace a single strap for one of the fins? Twenty dollars for a replacement part that costs you a dollar or so? Nice customer support.
If you buy these, be very careful every time you take the fins off, keep your eyes on the back straps or be prepared to pay a ridiculous price for a replacement.
If you are trying to get into Snorkeling you have prably seen a few “all in one sets”. From U.S. Divers (which has good rating) perhaps some Aqualung ones and maybe some off brands, etc. Since they are all relative in price and ratings, it doesn't seem like a big difference; but, it is. Stop looking and by the Cressi, it is worth the extra few bucks and at most I mean 10$ comparatively. This set is fantastic. I have returned EVERY pair I have bought except the Cressi, these will be staying with me. Once it arrives you can tell the quality difference, the snorkel is phenomenal and worked PERFECT. I dunked it at the bottom of the reef of 10ft deep water and had to go fetch it at the bottom of the ocean and it still was as good as new. You are probably asking well why not 5 stars. Mainly because the mask is a bit small, the window view isn't great and sometimes the black clip distracts you while you are swimming; but, it is is just a nitpick complaint, especially for the price range. Hey not everything can be 5 stars and I don’t like just blindly handing them out unless things are flawless.
Great value for the price it is LIGHT YEARS beyond the competition of Aqualung and U.S.Divers, don't even bother with them, I actually spent almost an hour just trying to get back my broken fin (that broke within 10 minutes of snorkeling) just to return the U.S. Divers. This really is a GREAT product, it’s not as "cute" as the Aqualung or the U.S. Diver editions but SOO much better in quality.
The goggles fog and have a small window and with it so clear you can get distracted by the black bulb on the ends holding the straps together. It also is about 5-10 more expensive; but, TOTALLY worth it since you will own this awhile and not have to return it.
