Haven’t traveled with it yet so will keep you posted. So far I mostly love this BCD. However as others have noted the pockets suck. (Hence the four instead of five stars) Why even have such big lovely seeming pockets when they are impossible to access when diving! They zip opposite of functionally... I’ve tried attaching zip ties and brass clips to make the zipper easier to feel/find and pull and it’s all stupid! My buddy can access them in a pinch other than that they’re 100-% useless. So don’t buy it for the pockets. (I ignored the reviews about this and here I am. Pocketless.... I’ve ordered thigh pockets and hope this alleviates this missing aspect)
The good news: I’ve found it to be quite comfortable and I’m seven local dives in. The weight clips work great. I have had no problems even when taking them in and out while in the water. Make sure they audibly click closed and you’re good! They’re easy and secure.
Lots of d’rings to give you options for clipping things on ( a particular plus since... you know... the pockets suck)
The dump valves are in convenient locations.
I am 5’ 6.5 and 150lbs and I have the small. Probably just at the small size limit so if you’re at all bigger you might consider the next size up?
Overall I am very happy with this product so far. Much happier with it than renting BCDs for sure!
- Lightweight! Hard to describe, when dry, it seems like it weighs about as much as a loaf of bread.
- Small, easily folds and fits in a tiny BC bag.
- Tons of alloy D-rings.
- Integrated weights fit two large Pearls in each bag.
- Trim pockets fit at least a medium Pearl in each.
- Three dump valves, if you count the inflator hose.
- One of the seams near a pocket has started to come undone. Not sure if that was a snag on coral or what.
- The Cressi product tag keeps popping out.
With respect to some other posts:
- Integrated weights -- I've never had a problem with the integrated weights popping out. Once they're audibly clipped in, they seem to be very secure.
**** Update October 11, 2015: I had to return the BCD because all four of the weight pockets were ripping. I suspect this is due to over-use, since I had 40 dives on it. I really liked this BCD because of the reasons listed above, but I downgraded to 3 stars due to reliability. If you use this only as a travel BCD for occasional trips, it's worth the 5 stars I gave it previously.
The great points are;
Double d-rings on both shoulder straps
Two lanyard pulls for vents
Very comfortable cummerbund, waist and shoulder straps, with sternum strap
Pockets are roomy, although a little hard to open
I read a lot of comments about issues with weight pockets coming unclipped, and falling out while diving. I have to think the issue might be related to not fully clipping them in, since we had zero problems, although admittedly we only have about 20 dives with them.
All in all, I am really pleased. Good job Cressi!
The side pockets are large. I carry a strobe and diver sausage and snorkle in one side and cyalume sticks, firefly lights and small knife in the other pocket. There is still room for stuff you might pick up on the dive.
It folds up to an easy to manage size for travel. Has lots of METAL rings and the dump pulls are located intuitively. Double straps for the tank.

It was less than 1/2 the cost of buying it in Canada, even when considering the shipping, it amazingly I had it delivered within 3 days. Amazing. Amazon even looks after the Canadian taxes as part of the shipping.
Looking forward to using it in a couple of months on my next trip south.
On may last rip south two people were using this BCD and loved it. One was the DM and while it was starting to look a little worn, she said she had about 600 dives on it.
Will update after my trip south.
Performed great loads of pockets for weights easy to use dump valves easy to access and light weight for travelling
