Can't get enough of this band lately, I love the energy and variety of songs. It was a little strange at first but I really liked Diamonds and Space Song so I kept listening. And then it seemed like the light just clicked on and everything sounded really cool. I have a long commute to work and blasting this in the car makes it go by a lot quicker. I've since bought the other album and can recommend that one, too.

BTW I think the 1 star crackpot reviews here are a shame, thats why I decided to post something. This album deserves better. And surf music? for real? I don't really get that.

Its a collection of very cool and very unique songs that sound like they're played by real musicians and sung by real people rather than a digital simulation. If you like albums where every song sounds the same and the band never steps out of some narrowly defined little genre, then go for it. But this is not that album. This is a real band that can do more than one thing, I like that.

This band has a very West Coast feel with the instruments and that is not a bad thing. I am glad I bought it to check them out, yes actually bay for a bands music. Very talented musicians but the vocals need to mature.

I will say may of the lyrics are clever. And I have to give proper recognition to a band that uses Sarina Valentina as their cover girl. Takes guts to be yourself.

This album is a real gem and I can't believe (although I'm thankful) that it is free.

It has a really great surf-influenced sound. Low-key vocals punctuate the drum-heavy rock.

This group has a different kind of sound. Almost surf-music for some styles. This really isn't my type of music but I was able to listen to it. I probably won't keep it though.

Very cool record, I especially like Bolivia. - Side 2 really starts getting out there. Its cool. Its psychedelic but not like Pink Floyd, well, its more upbeat. And very good sound for a picture disc - its pretty quiet. You get a little surface noise before the first track on each side, but it goes away as soon as the song starts. I don't even notice it after that.

And, oh yeah, I almost forgot, It looks amazing! Very clear. The cover image almost looks a little 3-D when you see it through the grooves. Very nice! Suitable for framing, I suppose, if you don't actually play your picture discs.
