I love my Cricut, but this spatula really isn't worth the money. It was to designed to help you remove what's been cut off of the Cricut mats, and while it does help you do this, it also picks up a lot of the sticky adhesive from the mats, which can then interfere with the effectiveness of the tool for future cuts. I tried to clean it with finger nail polish remover (what I always use to clean stickers off anything) but it never really was like new again. Additionally, with normal use, the large spatula area became bent. I prefer my Creative Memories tool, that has much less surface area and does a better job of picking up my beautiful letters from the mats. My friends prefer using the "hook" tool that comes in the Cricut tool set. Cricut 29-0004 7-Piece Tool Kit for Cricut Cutting Machines

I kind of want to give this item a low review simply because I do not believe it should be extra. It should be something that comes with the machine.. But that has nothing to do with its purpose or function. I use mine all of the time. If I am cutting I am using the spatula to remove my cuts. It always works great and when I use it I rarely tear anything.
For thin papers or extra sticky mats this is a must!

This spatula is a must have for the cricut. I can do without all of the other tools sold in their tool kit, as long as I have this one that only costs less than $5. Buy it, you will be glad you did!

For those of you who don't know, this tool allows you to remove cut pieces from the sticky cricut mat with more ease than any other tool I have tried.

This is the best tool I've found for use in 3D printing. You need something to ease the print off the build plate without damage, and this does the trick.

This is the second Cricut Spatula tool that I have ordered. I use them all the time. The reason that I wanted a second one is that after a long day of use it does get some sticky build up on it that needs to be cleaned off. This is not the fault of the spatula but a side effect of using it to remove the paper from the sticky board. By having two I can just switch to the clean one and not have to stop my project because of the sticky build up on the spatula. This was a great price for this tool and it came very quickly.

If you have a 3D printer, such as a Makerbot, Ultimaker, or RepRap, this spatula is perfect! It's strong, thin, but not sharp, so you can pop your prints right off of the print bed without any scratches.

I thought I was wasting my money on this, but it is so much better than the dull butter knife, spoon, scissor, or toothpick method I was using before!

If you want to give a little gift or stocking stuffer, this would be it!

I just wish it came in grey or ivory/white, so that it could match any Cricut machine (mine is not green).

Now, it is the first thing I grab, before the paper.

I saw the recommendation for this spatula in some Youtube video as the best tool to remove objects from the build plate of a Makerbot. I am happy to report that it works like charm! Although I cover the build plate of my Makerbot Replicator 2 with a sheet of painters' tape, large objects, and especially objects without a raft, tend to stick to the plate. Now this problem is solved. I slide this spatula under the four corners of the object, and it is usually enough to separate it from the build plate.
