Once in a while I find a book on my desk that challenges me. "Is It A Crime," written by Roy Glenn is one of those books. The challenge was to cast out tradition and judgment until I got to the heart of the novel. It didn't take long for me realize that I was onto something special. We have entered a new genre here. I have deemed it the "Real World Genre."
Roy Glenn's characters takes up into the world of today. A world of fast paced aggression and dedication to the American Dream by whatever means necessary. Their world is harsh and threatening. It disturbs us, shakes us up; but if we drop our prejudices long enough, we find ourselves deep into a beautiful love story and a world or morality where friendship and family means what it is supposed to mean. It is a world where men respect women and family. It is a world where ordinary people do what they have to do to survive. "Is it a crime" is a book that you won't be able to put down. -- Cliff Chandler Host / Producer Art With A Capital A
Roy Glenn has easily slipped into the ranks of literary stars on the rise. His first Novel "Is It A Crime" contains all the elements of a compelling story told with the insight and perspective of someone close to the characters and events. His Story does more than move, it gyrates. The reader is taken to emotional heights rarely accomplished by first time authors. It is a must read. -- Lee Meadows Host of Book Beat/WPON
Roy developed his characters in a detailed well thought manner, creating personas that were larger than the pages they were translated to, Characters that, somewhere in your past you will feel you knew that person. -- Ron Johnson
