Crimson Frost follows the story of Allie, AKA Sapphire, as she navigates the uncertainty of her new life. Destroyed by the decision of her brother, Alec, to turn to the darkness, Allie is left in the middle of a war that seems endless. Wanting nothing more than to save him and destroy her rival, Demetrius, she is willing to travel to lengths that she never considered before.
Just as compelling and page turning as the first, Crimson Frost, is a wonderful addition to a fantastic series. Can’t wait to see what it brings next!
Crimson Frost picks up where the previous novel finished. Months have passed, and Allie/Saph is learning more about her alien powers... and her origin.
After a leisurely start, the story soon cracks into action. Saph has two objectives: find and save her true love Phoenix and her brother Alec.
Will she succeed and survive? Demetri and another Shade have set their sights on her. Between the two adversaries and her brother Alec, Saph must stumble her way learning who she can trust, surviving her training, and keeping her alien heritage secret from her Earth friends. Not to mention her adoptive family!
I enjoyed reading Crimson Frost as much as the first one - Fire and Ice. Jessica Fisette writes well and knows how to keep the pace going.
