My two favorites are quite stylish: (1) a very cozy-looking alpaca nightgown with sleeping cap and (2) a charming dance ensemble made of joined floral motifs, complete with wristlet and a floral “earband.”
What is nice about the book is the instructions to make the outfits to fit the creature you wish to clothe. The basic instructions are for bears in the 16-18 inch range, but each pattern contains instructions on how to customize the fit for virtually any size bear. The author also mentions they can easily be adjusted to fit 18” dolls (I assume she is referring to American Girl types).
A few of the patterns are made of fine weight (#2) yarn, but more of the light (#3) or medium (#4). I would have liked a few for smaller critters using thread crochet.
There are also brief, basic instructions for crocheting in general.
All in all, a very good book with good information, especially for larger bears, bunnies or dolls.
