Crock-Pot 3.5-Quart Casserole Crock Slow Cooker
Make-Ahead Meals and Easy Entertaining
After a long day, come home to hot-and-ready meals like creamy chicken casserole, flavorful lasagna, or savory baby-back ribs. Simply add ingredients to the stoneware, secure the lid, and turn the heat to Low or High for slow, thorough cooking. The Casserole Crock makes it easy to enjoy delicious recipes, robust and tantalizing flavors, and effortless meals from the comfort of home.
The Casserole Crock slow cooker also frees up additional cooking space when entertaining, which can be particularly helpful during the holidays when space is limited. Use the conventional oven for the turkey and potatoes, while the Casserole Crock slow cooker takes care of the green bean casserole or other favorite dish. Don't forget dessert--from mouthwatering strawberry-rhubarb crisps to blueberry cobblers, this slow cooker's got you covered there, too.
Travel Friendly--with Locking Lid for Peace of Mind
Whether it's a casual potluck or an elegant buffet, the Casserole Crock slow cooker makes transporting meals a snap. The unit's portable design includes an onboard cord wrap for tidy travel, a gasket lid liner on the inside for a tight seal, and two side clamps that hook from the lid to the base and clamp down, locking the lid in place. No need to worry about spills or sloshing about; now you can breathe easy when taking those turns or heading uphill.
A true performer, the Casserole Crock slow cooker can also be used as a server (no need to dirty a second dish). Simply unlock and remove the lid, plug in the slow cooker, and turn the dial to "warm" to keep food at a ready-to-serve temperature. The slow cooker also provides large side handles for safe, secure transport from the car to the kitchen or buffet and back again.
For added versatility, you can cook any number of family-favorite recipes in your full-size oven, then transport the stoneware from the oven to the Casserole Crock heating base for safe, easy travel and/or to keep the dish warm once dinner is served.
The Casserole Crock makes family dinners, potlucks and parties easier than ever. Its 9 inches x 13 inches rectangular removable stoneware is the perfect size and shape to prepare everyone's favorite casserole dishes, lasagna, mac & cheese and desserts.

The only negative I can see is that the plastic clasps on each end which make this slow cooker transportable are plastic and seem to be cheaply made; so is the handle on the lid. I expect them to possibly break sooner rather than later. However, they may be better than I think, and will hopefully last; I plan to be putting this appliance to the test over and over, so I’ll update the review after a few dozen tests. Even if the plastic parts do break, the shape and size of this slow cooker are so good, I’ll just get out my super glue. I would recommend this Crock-Pot to everyone.
To my surprise, everything fit PERFECTLY! In order for readers to understand why I was so surprised, I guess I should include WHAT I fit in this sucker...2 cups of dry rice, two 12-ounce bags of frozen veggies, 2 cans of cream soup, about a cup and a half of water, six HUGE (these 6 breasts will feed my family of 8 twice, easily) chicken breasts (if you've never heard of Zaycon, check it out...AMAZING food at extremely reasonable prices... zayconfresh.com/refer/zf411185 ) and a good ol' stick of butter.
A few other things I'd like to point out...the rubber seal on the lid is great, the little cord keeper on the bag is genius (I hate the cord just hanging on my other crocks), the locking lid is amazing, the handles and even the locks seem to be quite decent quality, there is something rubbery on the bottom that keeps it from sliding at all (I already had it filled and hot before I noticed so I didn't flip it upside down to see exactly what it is). The outside DOES get warm but, that's not an issue for me because I've never had a crock pot that didn't get warm on the outside. Also, for the first 15 minutes or so, it smelled like melting plastic (and yes, I stuck my nose to it...it was just the colored part...kind of like when you turn the furnace on for the first time of the season)...but, not a big deal to me.
Since I packed it so full, I do anticipate it taking a bit longer to cook but, that's o.k. with me. If I hate the way it cooks, I'll update. But so far, I'm super impressed! I'm literally amazed at how much I was able to fit in this sucker! If you've been on the fence at all, GO FOR IT!
