It's very easy to use but I looked on you tube for beginning instructions for use and how to clean and it proved 100% helpful for me. I'm a visual person. Show me and I'm good. I like this a lot and use it daily. I so far use it to steam all my veggies which help being I'm vegetarian and enjoy steamed veggies all kinds including sweet potatoes, asparagus, corn on cob, greens spinach. When I cook I do all at once the meal for that time, lunch/dinner. Save me a lot of time. I wish the tray to steam veggies on could sit up higher and the holes were smaller to keep veggies sometimes from falling through and going into water. I wish there were More steam baskets/trays to have different layers to cook more varities of veggies at a time. I wish the electric cord was much longer. Wish it came with a clear glass top as well. As stated I have been enjoying using Every day at least twice daily. It's very fast don't have to stand or watch it cook. Set timer, go chill until it beeps and/or it will auto go to warm which works well. It cleans very easy. I take the rubber seal off after every use but BE SURE TO PUT IT BACK BEFORE USING IT. If you notice steam or water com8ng from the top you probably forgot to put seal back. Make it a habit to check before closing it. I'm looking foward to fixing stews,chilis, roast for family etc. It's been a great help for me. Looking for one also that is more an oblong shape again to steam even more veggies at a time like for 6-8 servings. Most of my veggies I can set to steam for 10 minutes and lunch/dinner will be ready. Remember the time don't began until the pot warms up. 👍So far I've made enough for 3 servings at one time easily. I hope you enjoy as much as I am.

I love this muti use crock it has so many different function you can use. I love being able to use it as a slow cooker or if I am running late on time you can even throw in frozen meat and pressure cook and things are ready so much quicker and it just makes the meat or chicken super tender. I also love the fact that the cord comes off so when done using don't have to worry about that. I think the only thing I wish was different was the steam release is different than what was on my other one. But I would recommend and do to everyone who does not have one
