I've always had the biggest Crock Pot Amazon sells and it never occurred to me to also have a smaller one. I don't know why. I find myself using this smaller one more than I used the big one. It's so much easier to clean and the perfect size for two adults and some leftovers.

I had a larger size of this exact crock pot with one big and very nice difference in this model's favor; the weep channel around the rim. I wish I had gotten the larger size, but that's my fault. A small whole chicken might fit in here, but it won't fit on the bottom unless it's defrosted and squished.
The weep channel around the rim is an awesome feature that ensures you don't hear the simmery, popping sound all night or get spatter from the liquid. The channeless design made cleanup much worse and would create spillage if I didn't supervise it or offset the lid.
The crock pot works well and had I not cracked the old one, I would expect it lasts a long time. I will update my review if ever I have a problem with this.
Remember, this is a simple model and simpler is better for longevity..

The Crock-Pot has worked very well. Thus far have used it to make pot roast, beef stew, and pulled pork. All three dishes have turned out very well. The only feature I wish had been included is a light to provide a visual indication when the unit is turned on, but the lack of one isn't a major issue in any event. Excellent purchase and would recommend.
