Tiny and narrow.

This boot is tiny. As in I thought someone sent me doll sized rain boots. I was excited to find little rainboots because her neoprene size 5 boggs are not waterproof and the waterproof boggs start at size 7. I ordered a size 6 for my one year old who wears size 5 or 5.5 and they are smaller than her size 5 sneakers. They are also very narrow. So narrow that I couldn't even get them past her toes. I attached pictures comparing her size 5 sneakers to the size 6 boots.

We loved these boots until a few days ago when we discovered one boot had shrunk. Before we bought these boots we had read someone’s review that their pair also shrank but we were skeptical. However, within a period of one or two days, the boot went from fitting just fine and being equal to the other boot, to being significantly smaller. We hadn’t done anything differently than we normally did when she was wearing them, so I have no idea why the one boot shrank so drastically in such a short time.

UPDATE: We think what happened was one boot was placed on a heat vent and that caused the shrinkage. We ended up ordering another pair because they really are great boots.By Andrea S. on August 9, 2018

Unfortunately, like all other Crocs, these have NO type of lining in them. This was not an issue for us as it's an easy fix - simply wear a thick pair of socks and your kid is good to go. Another issue is that these boots do tend to run on a smaller size. Based on other reviews, I ended up ordering a size up (Size 3 instead of Size 2) and the boots fit my kid well. I can imagine the Size 2 may have been a snug, but can't positively say as I didn't order two pairs for comparison. Either way, there is a little wiggle room for my boy to grow into this boot. For those who have purchased Western Chief boots, those run big - I would go a size up if ordering the Crocs. Overall, great lightweight rain boot for kids - I'll update down the line when these wear out and develop leaks - if any.

The rain has been unusually generous this year in California this year, and in the Bay Area it's been enough where sending the kids to school in rain boots hasn't been too bad of an idea. Unfortunately for us, this was the year that our son's [[ASIN:B00EVZOK1U Western Chief Kids Solid Firechief Rain Boot(Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid),Black,1 M US Little Kid]] decided to develop a HUGE rip in the back seam and cause a miserable leak in my son's right boot. I purchased that boot in Nov 2015 and it lasted one rainy season as stormaggedon 2015 never actually showed up and instead waited until 2016-2017. The Crocs Rain Boots seem to be a great replacement boot. First off, these are much lighter than other rain boots. True to Croc fashion, these are extremely lightweight and molded into one piece with no seams. The boots are comfortable for my kid to wear, and he loves that they're literally half the weight of his old boots. He's had no issues with leaks, and because there's no seams, it's unlikely a tear would happen. I have been keeping an eye out for wear, and despite daily use, many stomps through puddles, and running around like an ant on speed, the boots seem to be holding up quite well to my kid's use.By K. The fit on my 4-year-old is perfect. They come in a little bit at the ankles and make the shoes stay on better than any other rain boot he's had. They don't fall off when I pick him up or put him in a cart which is great. That being said, the ankle is too tight on my toddler. He still has chunky little baby thighs and ankles and the boots are really hard to get off of him. I even got him a size up from his normal shoe.
I think that I would still buy these again because they are adorable and fit really well on an older kid. I will probably try again for my baby once he loses his chunk.
***Update: I love these so much, they are the only rain boots I will buy for my kids. I have bought so many pairs over the years it isn't even funny. I have bought green, yellow, dark blue, light blue, pink. All of the colors we have had are vibrant and amazing. My boys wear at the absolute snot out of their shoes, but we can always pass these on when they are done with them. Amazing quality and my boys love wearing them because they're easy to put on and they are comfortable. The second picture I posted up the pink pair are the shoes after my youngest wore them for about a year straight.

Jedes Kind braucht Gummistiefel, ist schon klar, aber mir fiel auf, dass mein Sohn im Kindergarten ca 2 Paar pro Saison verschleißt. Wir hatten vorher nur klassische Modelle aus dem Einzelhandel, sprich mit verschweißtem Kunststoff. Alle hatten nach einer gewissen Zeit Risse im Gummi und sie waren somit undicht.
Das Crocs Modell ist viel resistenter als die klassischen Modelle. Unser Sohn 4 Jahre alt, trägt Schuhgröße 27. Hatte Bedenken bei der Wahl der Größe, da er einen hohen Rist hat, aber 27/28 passen ihm wie angegossen.
Der Stiefel ist empfehlenswert für dicke und breite Füße.
Eine Vorrezensentin schrieb, ihre Tochter könne nicht gut laufen in dem Modell. Ich glaube dass, ihr Kind einfach zu schlanke Füße hat für den Stiefel, deswegen empfehle ich den Schuh nur für Kinder mit kräftigen Füßen.
Ein anderer Rezensent schrieb, dass Wasser und Regen von oben in die Stiefel rinnen da sie offen stehen, da zu breit geschnitten. Ich ziehe unserem Sohn die Stiefel immer in Verbindung mit einer Regenhose an und die schließt den Schuh komplett ein, also Hose über die Stiefel, dann kanns auch nicht von oben hinein regnen.
Die Qualität ist wirklich wie gewohnt von Crocs sehr hoch.
Mein Sohn war gleich sehr begeistert und wollte sie gleich in der Wohnung anbehalten, sehr bequem!
Und siehe Bilder auf der Küchenwaage 290 Gramm leicht, top.
Bei kaltem Wetter mit dicken Socken im Kindergarten halten sie die Füße 2 Stunden warm.
Klare Kaufempfehlung für Kinder mit kräftigen Füßen!

My grandson loves these boot in fact he wears them all the time !!! As he can put them on himself I bought a pair in size 6 as he is usually a 6 but they were more like a size 4 so my younger grandson got them and I ordered a 9 and they fit him perfect sizing odd but great boots

I bought these shoes for my 3 year old toddler. Unfortunately, I had to send them back because he couldn't get into the opening of the shoe. We tried with and without socks. I bought 1 size up, so something like that wouldn't happen. I did hold the bottom of the shoes to his feet and I could see that the soles were slightly too big but the opening was only 2.5 fingers wide - Impossible for him to get in. If it wasn't for the opening, I would have loved those shoes.
