Put your intergalatically obsessed offspring in the Crocs Kids' Crocband Star Wars R2D2 Clog this summer. Fresh air will get a chance to flow across ten little piggies, and the heel strap minimizes the chances of this clog slipping off. The glow-in-the-dark band around the bottom helps Jr find these footcovers on missions to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

I bought this pair for indoor shoes at Montessori. I love them because they are durable shoes that my kids can wear to school as sandals since they are closed toe in the summer, to use as water shoes, and because both kids have to wear Croc's at Montessori as "indoor" shoes. We own several pair in each size. Can't say enough good things about these. Highly recommend Croc's for toddlers. I like this style mainly because it was Star Wars but I haven't been displeased with any of the crocs we've boughten thus far for either children. They always hold up and I've been able to pass down his croc's to our Godson or my daughter.
They arrived within the quoted time. When we opened them, we were impressed. They look pretty comfortable and well made. Best of all, he loves them! He's been stomping around in them for a few days now. He loves how the shoes change in a dark room or when taken to a darker environment. The edges of the shoes glow in the dark. The actual glow amount is impressive; it glows quite brightly.
UPDATE: After two months running around China, these shoes held up well. They still have plenty of life in them and will far outlast his ability to wear them. Soon, he'll be in the next size. At that time, we'll purchase another pair that'll fit him.
The acid test will be when my son returns in late summer after two months in China. I'm sure these sandals will take a beating! I'll report back if we discover any problems related to product quality.
As for socks - during the winter/spring transition when his school lets the kids play outside when the temps are 75 in the afternoon but 50 when he gets to school, I like to put socks on his feet - the fit is tight, so much so that he says it hurts when I put them on. If any of you have children in this age range and have to get to work on time (like I do), you understand that changing shoes and trying to use logic to sway the young boy's opinion on the matter are pointless - R2-D2 is going to be on his feet.
The Crocs have held up quite well, he wears them in the house sometimes for that extra special extraterrestrial feeling and they don't scuff up our wood laminate floors.
Overall we're quite happy with the purchase, I wish they were easier to get on his feet during the morning face-off battle of getting dressed.
