The rod is very sensitive, especially when paired with braided line. Could feel the smallest bites which definitely helped with hooksets. Overall, very happy with the purchase.
I paired with with a Diawa BG 2500 and 15lb Power Pro braid and it felt perfect. Plenty of power for big fish and didn't feel unbalanced.

Worked great for my trip to Florida. I was able to carry it on the plane and not have to worry about checking it. I had the medium rod, and didn't have any issues throwing one ounce weights with live bait on the end. Was also great for casting Gulp shrimp. I pulled in a 23" black drum with it, and didn't have an issue. Could definitely pull in a bigger fish without problem.By Parker Compton on December 9, 2018

So first off I never write reviews and I use amazon way to much, multiple times a month. I am fishing guide in Montana and have over 25 rods from fly fishing rods to salmon rods. I know my fishing and I know this company! I was dissatisfied with what I received. One eye lid was bent and another was almost vertical when being glued on. See photo
