This record player is very neat looking, much better than what you see in the pictures. It closes into a suitcase and has space inside for the power supply and usb cable. What makes this the best portable record player made in years the fact that it has a magnetic cartridge made by Audio Technica rather than the poor quality ceramic cartridges available in most portable record players made today. The stylus can be replaced and a 78 rpm cartridge installed for proper playback of 78 records. The sound is very good and loud. The tone controls works as expected. Great little portable record player for the price. Crosley please make more turntables like this one! Don't use cheap ceramic cartridges!

Ok, so I didn't buy this on Amazon, but I felt it was important to warn people about this "cute" player. The first time I ordered it, just over a year ago, it worked. No problem, sounded great. Then the needle, which appears to be at least partially plastic, broke.
So I sent it to Crosley itself for repairs. I got the repaired/replaced player, but I go to use it and every record I play on it, regardless of age, sounds like it hit the martinis harder than Dean Martin--warped and alternating between fast and slow.
So I sent it back again. I very carefully try the replacement they send me, same model of player, and it plays records about 10% too fast right out of the box. Michael Jackson was already a little high anyway, but I compared it to the same song played online and it was definitely too fast, and so was anything else I tried.
So I sent it back. Again. This time tech support told me they would check it at least twice to make sure it doesn't play too fast. Behold, the latest one has the SAME problem very first time I use it--plays at 35-36 RPM instead of 33 (I counted to be sure), and there's no way to fix the darn thing. I'm a patient person and just wanted a working player, but it took an entire summer and three returns to find out this player is just cheaply made, and all it's good for is looking adorably faux-retro. The only thing deserving a star is Crosley's return policy (free returns within warranty and free shipping label), because this record player certainly doesn't. And it is taking up space in my living room now waiting to be returned yet again, for a refund this time. I expected much more from the famous Crosley company. Please don't buy this player. Please?

I really love the look of this turntable, its portable with a handle and the sound is great for this little box of fun. I wasn't expecting that at all. My complaint is with 45's, we tend to hear the record stop without playing the last 5+ seconds of the end of the record. My husband said that the arm doesn't extend as fair as needed to pay the smaller records. BTW No automatic arm movement of any kind.

I would buy it again but maybe if it was $50-$75.

I've owned this for almost 4 years now and am satisfied. Of course there are higher quality players out there with external speakers and surround sound, but for a bedroom or small apartment, this is perfect. The tones/balance are great and the sound is impressive. All my albums sound as they should on this player.

I purchased this product twice. the needle would jump around on the record and didn't play at the proper speed. I returned it. Customer service was fine.

Second product looked fine out of the box. It didn't spin the record. Sent it back but still waiting to be reimbursed for my money.

Product is clearly cheaply made in China. The plastic used reminds me of a Happy Meal toy. More importantly, two times the product shipped did not work at all. I would say it's not worth the price, but frankly, it isn't worth any price because it's simply plastic in the shape of a portable turntable, but not actually one that plays records. 10/10 would never buy anything from Crosley again.

Wow, I feel like I wasted $100 bucks on this record player. To start it plays records too fast but that isn't the biggest problem I have with it. It also skips all the time making it impossible to record anything. The slightest scratch or the lightest dust causes it to skip. The recording aspect is another problem. I cannot understand the instructions and hence cannot get anything descent to come out of it. I am good with computers and find the software problematic. I am very disappointed with this; buyer beware.

I like the look of the 1960s style but from a distance because up close you can see that it is cheap plastic. I had some trouble at first because it spun too fast and my record sounded like it was being sung by minions. I got it to slow down by manually giving the record friction. It played a record. It had nice sound. I was pleased. The next time I tried to use it I couldn't get it to spin at all no matter what I tried. The aux function still works so I could use it as a decorative speaker for my iPhone but it isn't worth the price for that and I still need a record player.
