Product Description

With the Keepsake Deluxe Crosley has taken the popular portable-style Keepsake turntable and refined it ever-so-slightly to combine high end performance with the same ease-of-use Crosley's come to be known for. Complete with a built-in preamp (or the ability to use your own) and deluxe stereo speakers you basically have everything you need fully contained in this fabulous vintage-inspired portable carrying case. The S-shaped tonearm is fitted with an Audio Technica moving magnetic cartridge and fully adjustable allowing you to dial in precise amounts of tonearm weight and anti-skating compensation. Add to that the ability to replace your cartridge at will, adjust the pitch control playback speed to compensate for old or poorly pressed records, and you have all the flexibility of a high end audiophile player. So if you want to enjoy your albums old style no problem. Yet, if you're looking to step your game up a notch or two, the Keepsake Deluxe is the perfect for the audiophile in you. (Compatible with NP5 replacement needle.)

4.0 out of 5 stars Happy Ending
By William Miranda on August 29, 2017
I needed help from Crosley support to adjust the tonearm to drop in the right place at beginning of record, but they were very helpful in solving the problem. I also had some difficulty attaching the counterweight properly. The owner's manual is some help but Youtube was better. If you don't have the counterweight on correctly, your tone arm is going to skip like crazy. After solving those two issues, I am extremely happy with this turntable. It's by far the best all-in-one turntable that Crosley makes. The sound from the built in speakers is decent with nice balance between bass and treble and adjustable tone control. The sound with headphones is also very good. That's how I listen most of the time. Platter speed is constant and the adjustable pitch control in strobe help dial in exactly the right speed. It's bigger than the Cruiser Deluxe but a way better device for the money. I originally purchased the Crosley Cruiser Deluxe but was disappointed with speed fluctuations and speaker sound. Plus, this magnetic cartridge with adjustable counterweight will be a lot easier on records than the heavier tracking force of the ceramic cartridge on the Cruiser.
