I now have this unique air rifle in my possession for about a month or two now and its damn accurate up to 20-25 yards. Although, it is a bit heavy weighting in about 6-7 pounds. My dad served in Vietnam and held this AR-styled air rifle and said Damn, it felt similar to his service rifle. I shot this rifle with PBA raptors and boy was it loud, left my right ear ringing. All in all and great rifle for any air gun enthusiast!

This is a really good pellet gun it's very powerful at 45 meters it can penetrate both sides of the garbage can I use to put my trash in to get picked up every Friday. The MTR77 is also very sturdy and can easily take a few beatings and still maintain integrity and reliability the only thing that didn't make this weapon have 5 stars is that it's very inaccurate from across my yard it can't keep a tight group about a size of a softball it could just be my weapon being a bad batch I'm not sure. It's totally a fun weapon to shoot none the less he. Magazine has storage to store more pellets that helps a lot of bird/squirrel hunts i

Their new "nitro piston" one pump design WILL surprise you the first few times you shoot the rifle. IT IS POWERFUL! Unlike previous opinion, "cocking" the rifle is NOT hard...not even kinda sorta.
I give a 10 on looks- from 2 feet away it looks like a real AR15. DO NOT go waving it around in public!
Quality I give it a 9, only bcuz the scope is extremely entry level...it's ok for a pellet gun I suppose. Just be aware
When you shoot it that it sounds 95% like your shooting a .22, so neighbors may freak.
All in all, very much worth the $$-- very very fun to shoot
DO NOT LET KID SHOOT THIS UNSUPERVISED, AS IT WILL EASILY INFLICT DAMAGE LIKE A .22 RIFLE!!

The rifle is great and love the power it actually has.The Scope was not great at all.I upgraded to a AR High powered scope that cost me alone almost 300.00 just for scope..But all around rating I give this product a 11.:-)

WOW What a wonderful air rifle, enough can't be said about it. This is a very high powered air rifle and is extremely accurate when a good scope is attached to it. The Centerpoint scope it comes with is worthless and it kept shooting low even at 10 yards no matter how much I increased the elevation on the scope. I would of knocked off a star for the scope but the scope is just an afterthought, your paying for the rifle.

The Iron sight version is the same price and I suggest you buy that one and purchase a UTG 3-9x 32 AO Compact CQB Bug Buster IE Scope. With the UTG I'm getting dime size spread in the bullseye at 35 yards!

The cocking is extremely easy if you do it right, I have no problems cocking it all day long. If your sitting down place the rifle between your legs and hit the end of the barrel with your hand to open it up, then push down with your weight on it to bring it down. If you try to pull it down then yes it will be very difficult but that's not the way its supposed to be done.

It is a heavier air rifle and with my scope its almost 10 pounds so its not for kids. This is a very high powered air rifle and needs to be treated like a real rifle as it can inflict serious damage or death if misused. This is not your red ryder bb gun that's for sure!

The only complaint I have is the trigger pull. It takes 8.5 pounds pressure to pull the trigger and is a 2 stage trigger. The trigger pull is long and hard and does affect accuracy so it will take some getting use to.

There are some youtube video how-to on putting a smaller screw in the trigger to lighten it up if your good at that sort of thing but I'm just going to take it to a gunsmith to have it done.

A wonderful replica, and a good shooter, though it can't compete with more traditional airguns in accuracy at this price point.

The Good: The build quality is outstanding. The rifle feels solid and substantial. The carry handle sights are excellent, and adjust well. The nitro piston is smooth and powerful as usual. It looks, of course, totally awesome. The picatinny rail is nice and should really be standard on EVERY gun, including airguns and rimfires.

The Bad: The rifle is relatively hard to cock compared to even my Umarex Octane that makes almost twice the energy. I have no problem cocking it all day, but I am big and strong. Some people may be turned off buy the cocking effort. It is louder than any of my other airguns. The trigger is the same awful Gamo/Crosman trigger that plagues all their guns. There are plenty of simple and free fixes for the trigger though, and they can be found easily online.

Other thoughts: I don't want to list the accuracy as either good or bad because the rifle is decent in accuracy if you are an accomplished airgun shooter. The rifle is by far the most hold-sensitive rifle I have ever shot. It will make you work very hard for groups that would be considered barely average from an airgun like the Crosman Vantage NP, which is cheaper, easier to shoot and cock, and is more accurate. But what this rifle does do is come with a good set of peep sights, looks awesome, and delivers acceptable power and accuracy for popping 1" spinners at 20 yards or aluminum cans at 50 yards. I still haven't seen the best the rifle is likely capable of though. At 10 meters, my 10-shot groups always have a tight group of 6-8 shots in about 3/8", but will have a couple vertical flyers open the group to about an inch.
