Caught in the cross hairs between a country that demands total obedience,
even if that means firing on rock-throwing women
and children, and following his conscience.
In a story of faith and courage, tragedy and hope, the author, Ro'i Tov,
shares the heartache of growing up an outsider in the tight-knit kibbutzim along the Jordan Valley.
It is here that his sharp intelligence, instead of buying him the freedom he so desperately desires,
traps him in a country without a moral compass and a military that challenges his spiritual and moral beliefs.
When he leaves Israel and threatens to tell the world what he has witnessed,
he finds himself on a high-stakes journey that takes him from Thailand to China, from the US to Bolivia in South America,
where he became first a refugee, and afterwards a political prisoner.
The Cross of Bethlehem II Back in Bethlehem by Roi Tov seeks to reveal life in Israel as a Christian Israel Defense
Force (IDF) officer from human rights violations to the use of an extensive network of underground agents.
It centers on his recognition as a refugee and his subsequent definition as political prisoner of Bolivia.
Roi Tov is a graduate--among others--of Tel Aviv University and the Weizmann Institute of Science.
In addition to his memoir, Roi is published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences,
Molecular Physics and other scientific journals. He won various travel writing and photography awards.
We have in Reuven Schossen aka Roi Tov ... a Brave Soul ... a man of Honor ... a man of Beloved God ...
an ex Israeli IDF Captain ... a Christian ... trapped in Bolivia ... since 31 August 2014 MISSING PRESUMED DEAD!
He refused to be evacuated ... he refused that negotiations be held with President Evo Morales.
May Beloved God embrace him with his Love-Grace ... we Salute him ... an extraordinary Soul Warrior for Righteousness !
Here are his last words:
i have described that several times, bolivia is in an odd situation. the usa is its client state.
bolivia supplies special sugar to Tio Sam and need nothing from him.
years ago i was member of a travelers forum which included travel agents and others.
i gave accurate descriptions of the murderous streets of la paz.
it cannot be denied, you see the violence while walking on the streets. they kill every day for cellular phones.
a few weeks afterwards, bolivia got a favorable review on the new york times.
in 2005 evo morales conquered la paz violently after a short siege.
there were no vegetables in the city, the city was on fire,
marchers of his party terrorized the people with dynamite sticks thrown regularly on the city's main venues.
people were so afraid that voted for him to avoid a civil war.
morales is coca-oligarchy. he replaced the miners-oligarchy.
all for the glory of empire who wanting to sweeten its special tea, is happy to help hide the systemic crimes of this
society.he is nothing but the shame of his Aymara culture.
the salvation of God does not always follow definitions of self-proclaimed democracies.
Sometimes it demands being killed for His honor.
In a place where open altars to satan exist, where live sacrifices are routine, where people and llama fetuses !
are buried under new constructions as an offering to the devil, one can understand his approach.
Brother, i will stay neither in bolivia nor the west. no human deserves such a punishment.
i will not replace one unjustifiable prison term imposed with no trial for another one. no no no! time to go.
thousands of refugees die every day. i am not different, this is the end.
No matter how many wolves the Bolivians send against me, by now it is clear that they will not break my spirit.
there is a time for every thing, and my Golgotha is approaching.
"Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither:
the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD."
God bless you and yours for supporting for a while the most insignificant brother in a lost cause,
With no constitution and no bill of rights to protect any of its citizens that "vibrant" democracy Israel claims to be is far out of its reach. In fact it is a fiction. If Roi Tov is anything he's proof of that.
Israel appears to be nearing a crisis point internally and externally. If the treatment of Roi Tov is any indicator the future doesn't look very bright for the Jewish state.
I hope Mr. Tov is now relaxed somewhere and enjoying a truly good cup of coffee...it is well deserved! I am buying a copy of this book to donate to my local library so others can enjoy and learn from it as well.
hide this is the book. There is good reasons for why the Mossad threatens this man, he tells
