This great book not only covers numerous physical fitness programs, but provides vital information on how to design your own specialized routines. This book is part of the "For Dummies" series, but do not be turned off by the title. This 350 page text is organized in a specific way to make it easy to understand and apply to your specific needs.
Part one covers the way to "wake up your workouts" by cross training principles. The second part deals with specific things like setting goals, fitness testing and other information. Part three explains the numerous cross-training plans you can follow depending on your needs and interests. Part four goes into some of the various exercises and routines to improve yourself. The fifth part covers in detail various exercises and movements you can use to vary your exercise routine. Part six gives numerous tips to stay on track with your physical fitness needs. The final part has the glossary and fitness charts you can use to keep track of your goals and objectives. This brief review cannot do justice to the amount of information this text contains.
If you are into physical fitness this is one book that should be in your personal library as an excellent reference source.
