Mai Donohue's story is one of courage, inner strength, and survival against all odds — guaranteed to touch your heart and your soul. If you've ever doubted yourself, been consumed by your insecurities or if you have ever felt hopeless or defeated, I recommend this book to you. You will cry in solidarity but you'll also laugh and smile. CROSSING THE BAMBOO BRIDGE is a testament to the fact that within every person is the ability to prove their demons wrong and find hope and love along the way.
