Tried manual OC and XMP. Didn't work.
Highest I can get to is 3400mHz / CL 15.
Cons: this is something that I have never seen before on a kit. The last 2 numbers are different! Mine end in 24 and 3A. Makes me uncomfortable. And they run at about 2c different temps, the elite come with a temperature chip. 30.50c and 32.50c. And reading comes from ballistix mod software and verified by hwmonitor.
Note: It had really odd timings to get stable tight timings, 15-18-12-12-35-56-4-4-16-4-8-14-0-3-3-560-A-A-14-10-9-2-1-4-4-1-2-2-1. GDM:off PDM:off. 1.45v. Never seen numbers for those sub timings like that! Got me higher score in cinebench r20 than Samsung b-die, 3200cl14 2rank dimms Corsair vengeance lpx version 3.32. From initial release of ddr4 when bdies weren't so expensive.
Talking to crucial about the part numbers. The 3 star is for the part number strangeness. If it's a thing I should be worried about then I'll edit to 5 stars!
As for physical quality, these sticks have weight to them, due to the nicely made heatspreader. Metal, with a nice black finish. I was surprised to see these sticks were given such a weighted heatspreader, feels nice.
Going back to the technical stuff: these sticks are very stable, and if you play your cards right, you might be able to get the timings even tighter like some other reviews have said.
Overall I would recommend this kit, it’s strong performance and quality are something you shouldn’t pass up on.
Speed 3866 4x8GB
As for z490 Asus Maximus Hero XII, these DDR sticks will train and boot with XMP enabled and set to XMP1 settings in bios 0607. No issues seen with stability with 10900K overclocked to 5.1Ghz and 47 cache ratio. I have run 4400 CL19 B-Die on 4x8gb, but the Hero will clock them down to 4233 with XMP enabled and did have some BSOD errors, so these Crucial Elites are being used instead at 4000 CL18 for less IMC stress in 4x8Gb and so far have been perfectly fine. Found similar part# rated Crucial kits listed on Asus QVL with same speed and timings, but exact part# is not listed, but they work on this Hero XII mobo.

Note: These come up as Micron E-Die memory chips. They will overclock tightening timings slightly and/or raising frequency with upping the voltage. Seems flexible so far, but don't expect massive results like Samsung B-Die.

Having used it for 6 months I've found them very stable at stock XMP settings (3600 profile). This gave decent 16-18-18-18 timings and worked well with all the various tasks I use the PC for, from productivity to gaming on Steam.
Recently I was able to move past these stock XMP speeds and increase it to 3800 Mhz, with matching increases in Infinity Fabric, using a guide (Micron E die, memory timing cheat sheet) to help me find the most stable timings - ultimately getting timings to 16-20-12-12 and achieving over 54GB/s
Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a really easy way to get to 3600Mhz on Ryzen, and for those interested in going even higher (though above 3800 is diminishing returns with latency, at least on Zen 2)
Before this got patriot viper steel and that gave me lots of problems.
Everything works perfect with AORUS x570 Pro and AMD 3700x.
The next step could be overclocking it but since I have never done it before probably won't try :P
