From the manufacturer
How do I set the memory speed?
If your system supports XMP, the easiest way to optimize your Ballistix memory is to enable XMP in your system’s UEFI/BIOS. Please refer to your owner’s manual for instructions specific to your system.
Can I mix Ballistix memory with another brand of memory?
In most cases, you can mix manufacturer parts, however, all memory in the system will run at the slowest performance of the installed parts. To maximize performance, we recommend that you install your memory in matched pairs.
My Ballistix memory is not running at the rated speed. What is going on?
To optimize your Ballistix memory, you will need to enable XMP in your system’s UEFI/BIOS. Please refer to your owner’s manual for instructions specific to your system.
Will the Ballistix memory work with my CPU cooler?
Some CPU coolers will restrict access to the memory slots on certain motherboards. Our Ballistix modules vary in height, depending on the model. We highly recommend confirming the amount of space you have available.
I just installed my memory and my system will not boot. What do I do?
When a system doesn’t boot after a memory upgrade, it is usually because the memory isn’t fully pressed into the slot. For DIMM memory, press memory until the retaining clips click.

The red coloration of the RAM actually looks surprisingly good against our brown board--this is not a build made with aesthetics in mind--but put against a black and white board like an MSI Krait, or a black and red board like a Gigabyte G1 Gaming, it would look even better. It's low profile RAM, so you should be able to fit most CPU air coolers around and above it without issues. Be aware that low profile heat spreaders aren't as effective as heat spreaders that you can hang a sheet off of and sail to Asia with when it comes to overclocking RAM. But, I mean, if you know that overclocking memory is a thing, you probably knew that already anyway.
No complaints about performance. The computer is quick and snappy when multitasking, and handles a dozen or so Chrome tabs with ease. This computer will move onward in life primarily as a VM rig, and this RAM will handle it well. The obligatory MemTest86 run was the final step in the RAM installation process, and it passed with zero errors. This is good, solid RAM from a well-known, trusted brand, and if you just need something basic, affordable and high quality to plug into a motherboard and go, this is great for the job.
I bought this to put in my new computer build using a Ryzen 1600X and it works. This ram want on the approved list for the Gigabyte motherboard I bought or the Ryzen website but I did not want to spend $30 or more for faster RAM I didn't have to. I read that Ryzen had issues with some RAM but it works!
***Update 2/4/2018*** - Memory and system is still stable as a rock almost a year later. No regrets on the purchase and for those deciding on something slightly cheaper, trust me don't mess around with cheap memory! I have used Crucial for all of my hardware for years and I never had an issue with stability.
If you are looking to overclock or want the RAM to overclock you might look at the Kingston Hyper X Fury DDR4.
I actually ordered the Kingston originally but returned it on Prime Day because I was able to pick up 16GB of this Crucial Ram for ~30 less than the Kingston. It wasn't apples to apples with respect to the memory clock (2166 for Kingston but auto overclocks to 2600+, but this, @ 2400 is plenty fine for gaming and I don't have to worry about stability or overclocking it.
Current Build: NZXT Source 530 Full Tower Computer Case, Intel i5 6600K, Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler, ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1060 Mini (6GB), Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 2400 MHz DDR4 DRAM (2 x 8GB), EVGA 600 B1 (Bronze 600W), Seagate 2TB HHD + Samsung 256GB SSD (installed later), and DVD read/write player.
The PCB on this ram is white, as well as the heat spreaders, but the tones of white are different just a touch; the PCB white is slightly more yellow than the heat spreaders. Hardly a huge deal, but something to note if you're ultra picky about matching whites.
Otherwise, this ram is perfect for the build I used it in, and hey, cheap, too for what you get vs what you pay for.

Wenn diese Rezension nützlich ist, wäre ich über ein "hilfreich" sehr dankbar.
The main thing I read up online is that my CPU has graphics on it, however I have disabled it in my BIOS. I have no clue where the rest of the 8gb of RAM went, but it's all my system utilizes.
If anyone who reads this has a solution please let me know!
Paired with ASUS PRIME B350 PLUS - it is not on the accepted vendor list but it certaily works very well.
