At first I was intrigued about why Scarlett was being treated badly by four guys that used to be here best friends, but once I started figuring out the guys’ reason for turning everyone against her I was kind of upset that the book was going in a predictable direction. Their reason was dumb, and how they treated her for months and months was terrible enough to me that she should have wanted to get away from them and her home life. Instead she kept thinking of how much she missed them. I don’t think that after what they did to her, and what they encouraged people to do to her, she would have actually wanted to stick around them.
They could have done a hundred different things to protect her, things that didn’t involve treating her like crap. But even if they did go the “we need to make people think we hate Scarlett in order to protect her” route, they could have done a whole lot of groveling and making amends towards her once she knew the truth. And there was basically very little remorse shown from her supposed best friends who did this to her. She got over them treating her lower like an abused animal really quickly, the guys barely said sorry, and then it was like we were supposed to believe everything could just go back to normal with them.
I totally get that fiction is fiction and anything can happen, but sometimes I just wish that people’s reactions and feelings were shown to be a little bit more on the realistic side.
My problem with this book was Savannah. She was too weak in my opinion. I couldn’t handle the fact that she kept trying to get their attention and affection even when they were so freaking cruel to her. She was just a doormat and that annoyed me. I needed her to stand up for herself.
After just a few chapters, I was so done with the mess and badly written repetitive sex scenes. Write something that is not disgusting, badly written, and an original idea!

Scarlett is a strong FMC despite the bully aspect of the story with her love/hate interest Rogue and I love that she didn't back down. There are lots of little twists and action and angst galore. I especially enjoyed the little hints towards the other guys future love interests because it means that this could become a series and I would relish every book!
I loved that this was a MF story and not RH I cannot see Rogue being open to sharing Scar with the other Heirs past what they have a best friends, he is just too possessive.
I have my fingers crossed that Coralee and Raven give the other Heirs their own story, I really want to see more of these characters ❤️
Loved that there was no cliffhanger
Would love a follow up books on the rest of the Heirs
