From the Manufacturer

Crumpler Logo

The history of Crumpler originates in the world of bike messengers and their messenger bags. However, since 1995 the Crumpler collection of bags has greatly expanded. The range includes professional camera bags, laptop and technology bags, backpacks, casual bags and luggage. But despite the evolution in style and use that Crumpler bags have undergone, the principles behind the original pattern have basically remained the same — creativity, innovation, a willingness to experiment, a big dose of humor and products that are built to last a lifetime.

Crumpler is known for high-quality craftsmanship.

The Industry Disgrace Camera Strap features
an ergonomic, double-layer neoprene neck cushion.

High-quality craftsmanship

Simply put, Crumpler products are well made. All Crumpler products are crafted by hand, beginning as a sketch on paper and then turned into design patterns-all before any piece of fabric is employed. Designing camera bags the old fashioned way preserves the soul and identity of the products and ensures the bags and their uses are thoroughly considered as they're developed.

Just like the originals, all Crumpler photo bags are made of sturdy, high-quality materials. This means that Crumpler camera bags are durable enough to stand up to the high wear and tear that an avid photo enthusiast might put on his or her camera bag. All Crumpler photo bags are made with waterproof, heavy denier nylon and feature a water-resistant design, so they are able to take on the outdoor elements and protect your gear.

In fact, we are so certain of the durability of our bags that all Crumpler bags feature our legendary, one-of-a-kind "'Til Death Do Us Part" warranty.

The Million Dollar Home bags also come with velcro silencer flaps that can be placed over velcro fasteners to keep unwanted noise out of your photo shoot. Our Haven camera bags feature a fully configurable main compartment with two velcro-mounting slim-line dividers. And all Crumpler camera bags come with a variety of pockets, leaving you prepared to easily store and access your cables, memory cards, lens caps and other camera gear. Crumpler camera bags are so customizable that, whether you're a seasoned professional or an amateur enthusiast, you're guaranteed to be well prepared for your next shoot.

Just like our camera bags, our camera straps are designed with full functionality in mind too. For example, our Industry Disgrace camera straps feature an ergonomic, double-layer neoprene neck cushion that distributes the mass of your camera evenly across your shoulders.

Unique design

Unique and creative design aesthetic has been a guiding principle for Crumpler since our inception. The photos you take with your camera say something unique about you. We think your camera bag has the potential to do the same. All Crumpler bags feature simple, clean, designs that convey an urbane sophistication. Crumpler bags are available in a variety of colors and patterns which are intended to let you flash a subtle hint of fashion or make a confident style statement. So ditch the bulky, boring black camera bag and entrust your camera to Crumpler.

What I'm storing:
-Sony NEX-5N (mirrorless APS-C sensor camera)
-Sony 18-55mm kit lens with shroud
-Sony 16mm wide angle 'pancake'
-Minolta Rokkor-PG 50mm f/1.4
-e-mount-to-MD adapter (for above Minolta lens)
-mini pocket tripod
-AC battery charger
-infrared remote control shutter release
-cleaning cloth
-spare SD card
-lens filter kit in a tri-fold fabric case

How it works:
Everything fits nice and cozy inside. The case is lined with a soft-knap fabric, not microfiber but similar to a car wash-mitt. Gentle on your equipment. Bright green and fun, easy to see inside.
There are TWO dividers in the main compartment, both of which affix to the sides by VELCRO, and are movable or completely removable. I placed my lenses in the left and right sides, then repositioned the dividers for the most snug fit possible. For a camera this tiny, there's a fair amount of wiggle room to play with to get your configuration right. The top third of each divider is able to flip over and lay horizontally, allowing you to set things on top of what's below without having them physically touch one another.
The main lift-up flap has a zippered storage section - as others advised, I wouldn't put bulky items here as they will add a noticeable bulge to your bag. I store my cleaning cloth and spare SD card here.
The front section has a small pocket, good or a phone, a lens cap, or other small things. A zippered section behind it is also a tiny nook for small items (things you may be worried most about losing [credit card?]).
When opened, there are two very small vertical storage sections on either side of the case, but again these can only be accessed while the top flap is open.

Love it. Love Crumpler bags. They are absolutely the best bags around. They are extremely well made. Well worth every penny spent. We keep getting new lenses for our SLR camera so we just keep upgrading our Crumpler to the next size up. The bags are very comfortable. They have lots of little pockets and extra areas for batteries, cables, snacks, money, whatever.

this bag was perfect for my needs. I had a snorkel bag for my old nikon that only would fit with the 28-200 lens, a couple of filters, and a few small flat items. This bag at $48 was a steal. I had been looking at them and had not made any decisions. the price drop special and the other reviews sold me. My new d7000 with kit lens, normal lens and old 28-200 fit great, along with extra filters for all. Love the handle on the top. I might get a better padded shoulder strap down the line but otherwise perfect!

This bag is now my grab and go bag when I intend to take pictures. The two innermost side compartments house my 1.4 50mm Prime and my Fisheye, as well as a battery charger and a point and shoot. The center compartment holds an 18-270 zoom mounted on my DSLR. Inserted lens-down, the lens cover does NOT touch the bottom of the bag. The front compartment holds spare batteries, SDXC cards, wired and wireless camera remote etc. The internal pocket on the flap has some cables and more SDHC cards. An ID tag and my shades hang on the straps incorporated on the sides of the bag. The tripod is carried separately if needed. It is a handy, hand-carry for airlines. I have had this bag for 2 years now and it still looks new. Had it fall into the silt at the side of a river once and another time had splotches of discoloration which I suspect was food associated grease and the dirt it attracted. After a couple of days, just emptied the bag and placed it in the heavy-hot cycle of the washing machine and the first time had it dry under the sun on the deck (summer) and the second time on a desk in the winter. Stains disappeared and I still love this bag.

I am a Crumpler fan, just so you know. I already have one of their bags (the Horseman) and I love that, so I was all set to love this little bag. My plan was to have a smaller bag for quick jaunts rather than the monster backpack and the mid-sized cube I sometimes carry. So far, I am not disappointed. Let me describe the ridiculous task I've set this bag out to tackle:

- Carry my Canon 5D MkII with battery grip and 24-105 lens
- Have my 50mm lens handy
- Hold a variety of accessories, including a circular polarizer, my Pelican CF card case, my right-angle viewfinder extender, cleaning kit, extra pair of sun glasses, sunscreen and a few other things
- Look fabulous but discrete
- Have easy access to nearly everything
- Be comfortable to carry

Mission accomplished. Obviously, because the size of the camera, not everything is accessible while the camera is in the bag, but it all fits, and fits well, if not a bit snugly. Because of the size of the camera and the amount of things I have in there, it is a bit bulkier than if you had a smaller camera, but that's to be expected. It just amazing it all fits in there. There are pockets inside of pockets.

The overall build of the bag is fantastic. The fabric is tough and thick and looks like it will withstand a beating. There are large velcro patches to keep the top shut, with an ingenious addition of covering the velcro with tucked-away flaps if you don't want them to engage. Otherwise there are two strong snap-locks to hold the top shut, which also (sort of) tuck away. The stitching and assembly are top notch. If my old Crumpler is any indication, this one will last for years and still look great. One other point I like about Crumpler bags is the inside is a bright color (both are fluorescent orange).
