"Crystal White takes the reader on a journey that explores a complicated relationship between former police partners. Told from multiple viewpoints and solidly plotted...Crystal White is a dark portrayal of the evil that men--and women--can do." - Suspense Magazine

David DeLee sets the plot in motion on the first page...With "Crystal White," [he] has delivered an action-packed adventure on a platter...It's a perfect fit in the crime detective novel world. - Diane Lunsford for Reader Views (9/12)

From the Inside Flap

Praise for David DeLee and the Grace deHaviland Bounty Hunter series
PIN MONEY
"This high-action trilogy features Grace deHaviland, a former member of the police force who has turned bounty hunter/skip tracer in Ohio. A masterful collection of three novellas, this offering takes the reader through some truly harrowing cases with Grace and her friend, Suzie Jensen, a sheriff's deputy. ...readers will find themselves engaged with each and every one as they explore the dangerous job of bounty hunting. Grace is definitely one tough chick that readers will always remember." -- SUSPENSE MAGAZINE

FATAL DESTINY
"DeLee's...highly qualified to write this first novel in the Grace deHaviland Bounty Hunter series. His plot twists and turns will put you on the edge and have you speed reading to keep up. Just when you think you get it...think again! DeLee's own special brand of storytelling will have you wanting more of this excellent series and more of Grace deHaviland as well." -- Suspense Magazine

"...taut and dangerous...Mr. DeLee has proven that he can compete with the best of them in the crime thriller genre." -- WebbWeaver

BLING, BLING
"This mystery story is original and interesting, with a fascinating point of view character...and even though [DeLee's] playing in that familiar (mystery) world, he still managed to pull off a story that caught me by surprise. Wonderful stuff."  --Kristine Kathryn Rusch

"David DeLee...captures...Columbus, Ohio, perfectly in this story about a wealthy but streetwise rapper who may be at the end of his game." --Joe Hartlaub, Bookreporter.com

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
"DeLee...implements realistic dialogue and the right amount of description while pulling the reader into his well-told story." --Lee Carey, Author of The Thin Line

"David DeLee really packs a lot of action, humor, and twists and turns into this digital short. I enjoyed [Grace deHaviland's] moxie and spunk and look forward to reading about her further exploits."  --Giovanni Gelati, gelatisscoop.blogspot.com

FATAL TRYST
"Although "Fatal Tryst" is primarily an action-oriented crime fiction, the social commentary is timely and the message flows seamlessly through the narrative...The characters are fully developed, the setting descriptions very nicely done, and the plot moves quickly. I will be looking for more Grace deHaviland stories."  --Donna White Glaser, Author of The Enemy We Know

I enjoyed this book. There could have been a little better editing, but this may have happened in the conversion to Kindle. Nick is a tortured cop on leave, who has come home to bury his father. He is still reeling from the murder of his wife and daughter more than a year earlier and must return home to face not only some of his past baggage, but to try to stop a potent new drug that has surfaced. I thought the characters were well developed and you had good insight into what has made Nick the guy he is today. There were a few times I thought, the plot dragged, but most of the time it was a pretty steady to fast paced book. Definitely worth the read! I was provided with a free copy of this book so I could give an honest review.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. And honestly, I would have purchased this book happily, furthermore, have already purchased the next Nick Rafferty book! I could barely stand to close the book at bedtime! I am now a huge fan of David DeLee and would highly recommend Crystal White.

From the start this is a captivating thriller. The reader moves from scene to scene in high expectation of the next turn of events. It has mystery, tragedy, a lost romance and much more! I was provided a copy of this book in return for an honest review.

As an avid reader of many genres, I have always been drawn to books that seem to set the hook from the first page, if not he first chapter. "White Crystal" by David DeLee literally did just that and maintained its grip throughout the entire book. At times, I was actually in a state of anticipation and couldn't stop reading even though I knew I had to do something else.

The protagonist, Nick Lafferty, is believable as well as likeable.; the story-line was exciting as well as captivating. Overall this was a very well written novel. There were at time, however too many superlatives and adjectives, but although I was provided a complimentary copy of this book so I could give an honest review, I would be more than glad to spend the necessary price for any sequels to this fine work.

I received this book for free in exchange for my honest review. I really enjoyed reading this. We follow policeman Nick Laverty as he deals with the loss of his wife and daughter, having to bury his father, and try to track down those responsible. Drugs, an alcoholic friend, other twists and turns kept me reading later than I wanted to! Hard to put down , well written. Can't wait to read next book.

I was given this book to write an honest review. I love a book that hooks me right away, and this book did. Colorful characters. I almost read it straight through. That is a sure sign that this writer's books are top of the line. I will be looking for more books by David Delee.
