Claudine Longet's velvet and seductive voice plus the formidable musical arrangements make of this album a collector item. There are several reasons that hold this statement: First and foremost go for her magical adptation of There's no mountain enough sung in French (My first choice in the album), then go to listen the classic theme of The Rollings Let's spend the night together and note the spellbinding chram she gives it. her version of Cry me a river is well stylized; I'll be there is another well done arrangement; Look what they 've done with my song ma, probably overcomes the original version; of course they long to be close to youin the unequaled voice of Karen carpenter doesn't admitt comparison but Claudine confers that angelical tune that makes it listeneable. Finally Guess who I saw in Paris is a postcard from France.

I knew about Claudine Longet when I saw her in The party from 1968 with the unique Peter Sellers. Her sympathy and charm made me love her and through the years I could see how pleasant and harmonic voice she had.

Try hard with this album; perhaps in Amazon France. But for you, this album should be a must-have.

Recommended without hesitation.

An early precursor to Bjork...? in a strange way (for the time)....yes!
This record really grows on you the more you listen to it.....
Claudine's version of 'Look what you've done to my song, Ma' is a stand out....
Mind blowing!!!...sad, scary and utterly infectious!
Kick back and let her guide you on a magical trip!
