I don't know what profession this cookware was intended for, but it does not take place in the kitchen. The items are nice and shiny, and do look good on display, but upon closer examination are really not of very high quality. The bottoms are heavy, so it should provide even heating from beneath, but the sides are paper thin, meaning a great deal of heat is lost laterally (or gained laterally in the case of a smaller pans on a gas stovetop). It literally looks like Cuisinart took some of their cheapest cookware and pressed heavier bases on as an afterthought as there is a peculiar gap between the base and sides. Perhaps it was designed specifically for on-line, television, and other remote sales where it could not be closely examined before purchase.
The worst part of this purchase is that the cookware was a gift and I didn't have an opportunity to look at it before I gave it to the recipient. Once I did see it I was very disappointed by what I saw, but by that time nothing could be done to but offer an apology.
I have long held the opinion that Cuisinart was a company that offers very stylish products with neat features, but which were in fact of very poor quality, and way overpriced. However I have picked up a few pieces of their cookware over the years and have found them to perform well enough, so they had me convinced they had a different philosophy when it came to cookware. This experience has proved to me my first impression was correct.
I thought Cuisinart was supposed to be a premium brand. I thought they would use better quality alloys for their cookware. I guess I was wrong.
I will try to return the pots and buy some other brand.

Lid is not as tight as the instructions would have you believe, claiming it could develop a vacuum. No way it would do that, but I wouldn't expect it could anyway.
Lid is a bit light feeling compared to my Analon lids with the silicone covered handles, which I prefer, but the all metal and glass would allow use in the oven if you so choose. I don't plan to, but it's an option anyway.
The plate reinforcement for the handle has a rough finish under the handle area that they missed in the polishing process, looking unfinished, compared to the rest of the the construction. Otherwise, it's a perfect jewel of a pot.
The lip for pouring works well with no dropping down the side, and it's good for both left and right handed use, as any portion of the rim works the same, not having a distinct pour spout like others.
Aluminum core clad with stainless steel, they warn against using high heat, to avoid possible damage.
With care, it should last a long time.

Right, it's Conair, not Cuisinart. (I wasn't aware of the purchase until now.)
i don't know how to explain the defect I am seeing in the bottoms of these pans. There is some doubt in my mind about whether the cookware is safe to use, so I am not using it. Which means I have to go shopping and spend more money!
Conair sent me instructions for removing the black smudges, and I spent quite a lot of time on that. (It involves making a paste from Bon Ami and letting it sit for an hour.)
The "treatment" did have an effect on the black areas; they became less black. However, after three repetitions of the process, the result was not a "like-new" saucepan.
So I sent another photo. The outcome was, I received a replacement saucepan - and guess what? It developed the same issue after I had cooked food in it.
There was no follow-up from customer service to find out whether I was satisfied.
After the replacement pan developed the black smudges, I went back to using the original one. (I was skeptical, but at least it looked better.) Well, after using a a few times, new smudges appeared!
I will see if I can find time later to attach photo(s)

Material es excelente, y es muy resistente, estéticamente es muy bonita, busque por muchas tiendas departamentales algo así y siempre las venden en batería no sueltas y si son sueltas súper caras así que la recomiendo mucho
