I want to love it, but... After 2 months it's not doing so well.

I've been using this for about 2 months now and while I want so badly to adore this frying pan, the coating is beginning to show signs of wear. I'm a retired professional chef, I am meticulous with all of my kitchen tools. I wash this pan with an eco-friendly soap (no harsh abrasives or detergents) and a non-abrasive cotton dish cleaning towel. The temperature on my gas range is always carefully monitored. The utensils that I use to touch anything in this pan are a high temp plastic material, wood, or silicone (which shouldn't damage the coating at all) and I'm bummed that after a couple of months I am seeing this kind of wear.

This pan is a cheat: Really 8” masquerading as a 10” pan

Technically, the outside dimensions of this pan is 10” (see photo) but the lazy concave shape renders the bottom a bare 8” wide...so I’ve been cheated by at least an important inch. For the same size, the Kirkland (Costco) pans are much steeper at the edges and yield significantly more useable room. If it weren’t such a pain I’d have returned this cheating pan to Amazon. This pan should be labeled 8” and not 10”, IMHO.

Great, non-stick pan

I have been using the Cuisinart 10 inch frying pan almost daily. It doesn't need oils or butter to "grease" the pan. I clean it with a soft sponge and dish soap and it comes out perfect. I have fried and scrambled eggs in it without any sticking to the surface of the pan. So far, it is holding up so well that I might purchase another sized pan from Cuisinart.

Non-Stick surface is fairly easily damaged

The non-stick surface is easily scratched and you need to use plastic or wooden cooking tools. But this is very common and nothing new in terms of non-stick cookware. I've never had a non-stick pan that had a rock hard surface that wouldn't scratch easily. Other than that, this pan is sturdy and it has amazingly even heat distribution. Overall, I like it very much.
