Poor mufacturing quality

They have a quality control problem. We've had one of these skillets for several years and like it. It is still good and we wanted a second one. But the current same model ones purchased here ARE NOT AS GOOD. The first one I ordered came with a very sharp dent ding in the skillet rim. It was obviously done in the factory and the non-stick coating was applied over the dent. The protruding dent was sharp enough to cut a finger when washing. I returned that skillet for a replacement. The replacement skillet has very poor handle riveting. The rivets are barely barely stamped. They have sharp edges and barely flattened enough to hold the handle on. I am afraid the handle might come loose with use. Pictures show the new skillet's bad rivets on the left and the way they are supposed to be on the top right (fully seated, flattened and beveled top edge).

Strange sounds when heating

It is obvious that I received a defective product given the overall positive reviews here. However I am going to still give it 2 stars based on overall feel and looks. The product I received made a constant ping and ticking sound while cooking. There is mostly likely an issue with the bonding of the different metals used to form the pan or a problem with the handle rivets. The sound is constant, annoying, and unsettling. Some of the ping sounds got very loud and that was enough for me to return it. When I say loud, I mean loud that you can hear in our living room. I tried to reach out to Cuisinart to take advantage of their life time warranty. Here is their response in part: Send, “Clear Picture of the bottom where the model is located. Clear Picture/VIDEO of the defect with cookware. Processing time from when the email is received is approximately 30 business days.” (Btw... it was Cuisinart that used all caps on the word video) 30 days and a video to resolve my issue on a brand new product is unacceptable in my opinion. So I returned mine to amazon.

Warranty Deceiving

Purchased this skillet in May 2017. At first it worked just fine, but over a few months food bagan to stick. It had a lifetime warranty so we called to see how to get it replaced. We had to email 2 pictures to 2 people at Conair for review. They replied that they only cover manufactures defects. Shouldn't manufactures defects be found before being sold?
Lifetime Warranty states it covers material and workmanship, material must not be their non stick surface.

First I want to say I have ordered and enjoyed several of these skillets over the years. When I came time to replace my old one, I was really looking forward to having my new pan. My 10 inch pan is just great, flat and nonstick and I love it. My 12 inch pan, not so much. It does sit flat on the cooktop but has a funny curve up in the middle and fats just run to the side. I thought it was a fluke and was able to replace it. Well the new pan does the same thing and is going back for a refund. I am so disappointed and don't know what I will get to replace it. I do not know how this could be happening and tried to convince myself it would be fine, but it isn't. Cuisinart bring back your old standards!

I have the 12" version of this pan, as well as the 12" regular frying pan. The weight is good, I like that the handle stays cool, it's sturdy and well-built, and does the job. However, after 18 months I'm having to replace it because the nonstick is scratched and beginning to flake. We're careful about hand washing it with only non-abrasive sponges. It never goes in the dishwasher. And we only use non-scratching spatulas and utensils when we cook. THis was a lot to pay for a pan that didn't even last 2 years. Maybe that's too much to expect from any non-stick, but we previously had an almost identical All Clad that lasted us almost 5 years. So we were a little spoiled.

In general I liked my cuisinart pans, but this particular model / size is not that durable. As you can see in the picture the non-stick fades after a little less than 2 years.

I contacted the seller, but of course <2 years is a lot more than 30 day return policies cover. They directed me to the manufacturer, who have been completely non-responsive for more than a week.

I have used this side by side with a 12" bought at the same time, using the same cleaning techniques, the 12" pan is fine, but the 8" is not.

I would not buy this version again.

I like that the non stick application is much safer than in past years. This fry pan heats nicely on my ceramic electric range and if kept on a low-medium heat the stainless steel and non stick coating are just right for my frying cooking needs. Another feature is that it can go in the oven up to 500 degrees so I can finish cooking a frittata. Handle also stays cool on stove top. I have other cuisinart SS pans and am happy with this line of pans.

I LOVE THESE SKILLETS!

I have been looking for a set of pots and pans, as my previous set has seen better days. After much research, I purchased the Cuisinart Multi Clad Stainless set (bought separately on Amazon) and just love them, but needed a non stick pan specifically for eggs. I decided to get this pan and boy am I glad I did!

First, it is a beauty and matches my previously purchased Cuisinart Multi Clad set. This is a heavy, mirrored stainless skillet with a non stick surface. I bought 2 of these skillets in the 8” to specifically make eggs. It is a perfect size, for 2-3 eggs scrambled, omelette, fried. Also makes great grilled sandwiches with lovely, golden browning. 😉

The lid of my small Cuisinart Multi Clad stock pot (10 cup) fits this skillet. It cleans up very easily - I hand wash even though it is DW safe- I use my nylon utensils on it and do have slight scratches. But that’s ok for me - I have read in other reviews that using silicone utensils will eliminate this.

I am very pleased with these skillets and so pleased that I bought 2. Would highly recommend and definitely will add to my set.

Was put through light use for about a month, hand washed with soap and warm water. (no dishwasher). Used a $25 silicone spautula. Always used oil and moderate heat. Had my wife treated me this well, I would still be with her. Was great at the beginning, and then started to stick. Looked great right out of the box and I had high hopes. Sorry to say I am extremely disappointed. Now I am stuck with it and it will only get worse.

I needed to purchase a new pan for my new induction stove. I tried out a few different pans and ultimately this is on the I chose. 6 months later, this pan is already losing it's non-stick abilities. I would not be able to make an omelet with it right now. I always look after my kitchen cookware. I only ever use plastic, silicone or wooden utensils in the pan. I do not put the pan in the dishwasher. I always hand clean and dry using cloth (no aggressive scrubbing apparatuses). I've had cheap pans last longer than this one. I am disappointed. I have owned other Cuisinart pans and they were not this bad. I also do not even use cooking sprays that contain lecithin which are known to degrade the non-stick properties of the pan. I only ever use pure coconut or other cooking oils.

I wish I could return this pan...

Discolouration and loss of non-stick

This pan was really great when it first came, but now 3 months in it has discoloured and lost a lot of the non-stick qualities. I am a professional chef and I know how to treat my pans, I havent used any metal on the pan and only ever have it set to medium heat. I will have to contact customer service but I am very disappointed.
