I am an avid cook. I cook gourmet dinners on a regular basis and love stainless steel pots and pans. I am very disappointed in the quality of these pans. I know how to cook with them and how to clean them. I did research the reviews and usually like cuisinart products. They are very hard to keep a good appearance. They have spots and marks that will not come off. Although I know this does not affect their usability, I like my pans to stay looking good. I sent pictures to the company and they still asked me to send more. Why? I would think they would stand behind their product without making you go through a lot of BS. I have too much going on in my life to have to go back and forth with a company. I would not recommend them and I would not buy them again.

I actually really like the way the pans cook. The big disappointment is that the first time I cooked in them almost all of them got these black and silvery pitted spots. Its so strange. They was no indication of anything when I unpacked them. I am going to contact Cuisinart and see what they have to say.

Product was very nice looking and delivery was fast. I understand that this isn't likely meant to be the most high end luxury cookware but I will preface my review by saying the set was returned immediately after opening the box. By comparison to some of the cookware I had been using, a mishmash of what I've collected over the years, the Cuisinart felt thin, but did look very nice as a complete set. I had my hopes up for something of higher quality but buyers beware when I purchased this 17-piece set for $200.00 it was (unfortunately) worth the price. I returned on the fact that when it was delivered it came only in the (beaten and battered) manufacturers box, so thankfully I had someone at home that could pick it up off the curb before someone driving down my street could grab it. I also noticed it had been opened and re-taped (what looked like several times) prior to it showing up at my doorstep. Several of the pots and pans had dents along the top edge which caused the lids to sit crooked, I assume because of improper repackaging and handling. Even if the set had come in perfect condition the edge was sharp and rough on some of the lips, which I kind of read as a sign of low quality. I was hopeful that I'd found a great deal, but holy hell if I'd have ordered this product for what they claim is full-price I would be revolted.

Where do I start.. ummm. Pots looked great when they arrived. Right away I noticed the 17 piece set 77-17N was missing the Pasta insert as advertised in the video. On the box it's not shown as included. Nor is it shown in the pictures listed on the Amazon.ca page. What's going on????Reviewed in Canada on February 13, 2021
Why are the lids steel in the video but come with glass lids? Glass is shown in the pictures on selling page.
I've used one pot twice,no issues. One small pan too. These heat up fast. Keep them with oil/ butter/ or whatever liquid you're using to avoid food sticking and cook on lower temperature.
My second smallest pot, upon rinsing out this pot I noticed black mark spots all throughout the bottom inside the pot. Why is that occuring? Poor quality steel? The aluminum wasn't baked correctly? These marks weren't there prior to use.
I then flipped that pot over to notice a seal around the bottom base is separated. Poor manufacturing I think.
I've not used all pieces in this 17 piece set yet. These just arrived a few days ago. I'll keep a look out for these issues on this pot set and upload more pictures, if it's throughout several.
I've contacted the manufacturer to see what their reasoning is and to seek replacement on that pot and any others suffering from the same issues. One week, two weeks gone by with email sent as advised in call that was on hold for almost 2 hrs, pictures must be sent. Email returned, too large. Split pictures up, uploaded on company website, and personal email.
No response yet.
Pots are light weight. Very nice, easy to wipe clean otherwise. Lids get very hot if sealed even on low 1 temperature on simmer. No steam hole.
Please take care when handling.
