Ordered the pan. Really wish they would not combine reviews for multiple products when it’s not what the listing is. It gives false positive reviews and you have to sift through to find your item!
I ordered 2 and both defective. Large areas of unevenness inside the wok pan. I ordered a 3rd one and hoping for better quality. I have yet to use because of lack of quality control. I am not talking about rough texture here.

This is a great buy. I didn't need it, I just wanted it. My wife gets sideways with me about my cast iron because I have so much of it...but who cares. I like guns, fishing poles and cast iron. 😂🤣😂🤣
It's a very nice piece, quite unique and totally worth the money. As far as it's usefulness, well I haven't really found alot of uses for it but I like it.

I've made cornbread and a few other things in it. But truthfully I just bought it because I liked it. I'm sure at some point I will have an actual use for it, but right now it's holding fruit on my dining table and it's awesome at that! 🤣😂🤣😂
It's more along the lines of a 2-3 person wok. But the best part is when I'm dead and gone it will still be here and my 2 boys will be stuck wondering WTF they are gonna do with a ton of cast iron. 😂🤣😂🤣

Update: I have had some time to use this pan and have learned many things about the rough texture of the newer cast-iron cookware. It comes pre-seasoned but if you want the smooth texture you can get that with a wire brush on a drill and some elbow grease...and then it takes several re-seasoning. Food releases easy from this pan, bakes wonderful cornbread. I have changed my opinion after using for several weeks. Educate yourself before purchasing cast iron. So all in all I have given the extra star for a ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ rating.

This pan is well made and I am sure very durable. I have one issue with it and that is it’s very rough. I am trying to season it but it shreds a paper towel. I am in hopes over time the texture will fill in with the glaze that will build up on it. Otherwise I could have given it a five star rating.

First things first, this item is cast iron, it is thick, it is heavy, and will last forever.

Unfortunately, the finish quality of the item will necessitate that you do some work to truly make this a daily user. The texture of the cast iron itself is rather coarse. This seems to be from the quality of the mold that was used when casting it. The "seasoning" that is on the item when you get it from the box, is very poor quality, and burns off on its own at normal baking temperatures. This will unfortunately also leave a taste on your food.

My recommendation, if you need a cast iron pan of this size/shape, is to buy it, but be prepared to have to spend a few days, or a weekend improving the finish of the inside surfaces. For example, thoroughly scrub the item to get off some of the seasoning that comes on it. Then, take some sand paper, or other abrasive to the inside baking surfaces to remove any of the uneven or rough texture. Then, after another thorough scrubbing, completely re-season the entire pan. Plan for at least 3 cycles through your oven for the seasoning process.

A bit deformed on the bottom. Manufacturing defects maybe. Wifey didnt like it. Cooking surface was fine. Called Amazon. They rectified it. Amazon is pretty amazing... weren't a fan before but sure is now...

We use cuisinart steam convection oven. Max is 12 inch. This fits perfect semi side way aka diagonal... does beautifully...
