Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I gave it a 3 on cleaning because when you 1st get it I always wash everything. But this dome had a strip of label paper contoured to it. Cuisinart didn't want a bridge on the bottom so the used a glue to hold the bottom side of the dome, following the contour. Let me tell you, that glue doesn't come off. You can see in the photo after hot soapy soak and a scouring pad it's still tacky to the touch. I stopped because I was seeing I was taking off a layer. Don't want to expose anything under it. There is a warning on the label about "lead". Guess I'm going to put it over a pot of rolling boiling water hoping it melts off??

Sturdy and works well. Just be careful if you try to cover a 9" Dixie plate. The plate will get stuck inside if you cover it completely. Ask me how I know.
Didn't realize how much I needed this till I got it, and started using it. Heats the food faster. Keeps the food moister while cooking. Top does not touch the food, very important when melting a cheese topping. Very well built. I'm very happy with it!
We make smash burgers on the griddle portion of our gas range, and this is the perfect finishing touch! After we flip the smashed burger, we put on a slice of cheese then cover with the dome and wait for 30 seconds or so and when you remove the dome you get wonderfully melted cheese that's sinking into the burger patty. Highly recommend
Una herramienta de cocina muy muy útil para la conservación de los alimentos calientes, me encanta, muy práctica, cumple con su función y es de excelente calidad.
