Don't listen to the reviews where people are saying that everything sticks to the pans. You still have to grease them. If you don't know how to cook with a stainless steel or cast iron pan you could burn your food quickly. They get hotter quicker and cook quicker thank a non stick pan. It is even possible to season these pans like you would season a cast iron skillet to make it pretty much non stick cookware. When you open the package after the initial washing put some oil in the skillets, heat them up until the oil starts to smoke and then turn the stove off and let them cool down. Turn it off as soon as u see smoke so you don't burn the pans and make sure you use enough oil.

I'm still trying to figure out how to properly cook eggs and such on these pans, but they have been awesome even with my inexperience. Even when I have walked away for too long (having two kids, that is easy for me to do) and burnt my oatmeal on the bottom, it was relatively easy to clean up the mess. I really love that this set comes with some extras that most sets do not include... I use the steamer set to steam veggies to make baby food for my daughter... and the pasta strainer insert for the stock pot is great for spaghetti or even if you need to boil potatoes for mashed potatoes. I also just love knowing that the food I cook in these pans will not be tainted with poisions like with the non-stick pans I recently tossed. Overall, I couldn't be happier with these pans, even if I still haven't figured out how to fry an egg in them without it sticking... I'm still researching for a method that works.

After looking for a reasonably priced stainless series cookware set, one that would be somewhat comparable to All Clad without the expensive price, and reading several posted reviews i went with Cuisinart's Chefs Classic. The set arrived poorly packaged, to the extent that one of the pans was dented around the lip, this should have been an indication of the quality of material used to make the set. I decided to live with it and after seeing the rest of the set thought it was decent, that is until we used the pans to cook with. The problem seems to be when cooking the pans tend to heat and burn the food being prepared, even when using butter or olive oil to coat the pan it creates hot spots on the inner surface quickly burning food onto the surface. I have All Clad pans, they have never created this problem, so I can only attribute this to the material thickness, even though the pans have a nice solid handle, the pans themselves are cheap, Cuisinart does a good job in finish, as they appear to be made of good quality, but do not come anywhere close to All Clad in performance.

This set arrived in triple and sturdy packaging that undoubtedly protected the contents above and beyond the "norm" insofar as most of our internet purchases have been concerned.

We are very pleased with this product that replaced the anodized non-stick cookware we used for about 20 years.

The instructions provided with the cookware are adequate for even entry-level cooks.

The set is well suited for our range, which is a smooth-top ceramic (radiant) glass cooking area. Would recommend that if in doubt regarding whether this product will "work" with your range - check your specification sheet.

We found no isses with uneven heat distribution, sticking or clean-up. Following the instruction pamphlet helped quite a bit in these regards.

Would add that just because these items are light in weight does not equate with being cheaply made. Thus far, that has not been our observation.

We have not had this set long enough to rate it with a 5th star. However, unless something fails, Cuisinart has satisified our needs quite well.

This is an excellent cookware set.
I believe the most important thing in cooking with nonstick pans is heating them properly BEFORE cooking in them. I rarely have problems with eggs (or anything) sticking to ANY (brand) stainless steel pan because I heat the pan until it is good and hot. I also use butter when cooking eggs, and yes if you know what you are doing your eggs will not stick. I am no expert but there is a technique and my mother taught me a long time ago how to use stainless steel and cast iron and basic cooking skills.
I was reluctant to purchase this set given some of the negative reviews. I am glad I did not listen. I think the set is probably the best value out there and built extremely well. I look forward to many years of successful cooking with this set. I also have a set of stainless made by KitchenAid (Gourmet Essentials Brushed Stainless Steel 10-Piece). That set is also excellent but the Cuisinart is a step above. To be honest, if KitchenAid offered more pieces I would have stuck with them, but I wanted a more versatile set that offered pasta insert and a larger skillet. This is a beautiful set worth displaying, it's that nice!
Stubborn stains can be removed easily if you put some dish soap and hot water and let the pan sit for 10 minutes or more. Again, knowledge is power. BKF is not bad, but I have rarely needed to use it. People: don't be afraid to heat your pans up!

I bought this set a few years ago and it's still in great shape. Obviously nothing stays perfect forever so my pans have scratches but nothing horrible. One of the bigger pans has a scorch mark on the bottom I can't get off but otherwise they are doing great. I can't cook hashbrowns in them but with a little cooking spray so nothing sticks, I can cook pretty much everything else. I clean them with Bar keepers Friend powder and that does the job. I wouldn't use steel scrubbers or anything on them.
