I love that this takes up a small amount of space and keeps the sharp blades from harming someone. I have the 14 cup processor and the discs fit perfectly.
The blades fit perfectly in this holder and it doesn't take up a lot of space. At first I didn't think I would need a blade holder but then...where else to store the blades safely and without them becoming damaged? This thing is a perfect solution as it keeps the blades flat and separate from each other in the case and I don't have to worry about accidental cuts from loose blades in a drawer or box.
These are very large, about 5-6 inches across and 3 inches tall, but it appears the maker was listening to the customers and enclosed the bottoms to prevent injury.
Out of the three primary storage containers for these blades I would recommend this one the most...if you have room. They do stack very nicely and two will hold more blades than the average person will ever use.
LOVE it!!! It fits my DLC-7 Super Pro discs. I bought two because I have 4 discs. There is a bottom, so I'm not sure what the other reviewer was talking about. It's easy to open. They stack nice and are sturdy. I've found that because one holder only has one disc in it that the blade stem fits inside also. I'll store the dough blade on top of the holders. As for the regular sharp mixer blade (if I ever get a recalled replacement), I'll just leave that one in the machine.
It’s well designed for what it is. But seriously ...only three blades? They should just make a giant one that you can store ten blades in and be done with it. They are stackable however. Functional, but annoying that only three blades fit in each one.
I just got two of these and will probably get another if I get any more discs. Since the discs are sharp it is nice to have a good place for them so the blade aren't damaged and I don't take off a piece of my finger. I can't really comment about how they will hold up since I just got them, but they do seem sturdy enough. If you are looking for child lock storage, this isn't it but this style is perfect for me!

I own three of this disc holder, all bought from Amazon. They are perfect for safe storing all 9 of my cutting discs for my 9-cup Cuisinart food processor. The disc holder is made of sturdy plastic, opens easily, and discs can be safely placed inside to store or pulled out to use. My three disc holders look nice stacked, sitting beside my food processor on the countertop. I like it that they stack to save counter space. I like it too that each disc holder is small enough (can hold only 3 discs), just in case I don't want to stack them on countertop and decide to put them in my small cupboard space. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase and would recommend this disc holder to anyone who owns several cutting discs like me.
*To Cuisinart maker: I wish that Cuisinart has a similar-looking holder for the disc stem, dough blade and stainless steel blade so they can be stored "uniformly" with the discs.

I like having a place to put my blades where the won't get dull or cut something accidentally. Be aware that when putting the blades in this holder they have to be positioned just so, or they don't go in. For this product to earn 5 stars, I would want a place for the other parts that come with the cuisinart: the spindle, cutting blade, closed lid. Not all of these parts can ain't in the unit, so they rattle around in a drawer, basket or shelf.
5.0 out of 5 starsI recommend this cutting disc holder.

I'm very pleased with my disc holders for my Cuisinart food processor cutting blade discs. I don't have to worry about any accidents/injuries and can store them safely when not in use. This is a sturdy plastic case that stacks well - I have two of them. Well made, as with all the Cuisinart products I own. I was pleased with the quick delivery also. I highly recommend this product.

Performs as advertised - BUT - where are you supposed to put the tall things that support the disc blades - this contraption certainly doesn't accommodate them.
4.0 out of 5 starsNeat and safe way to store the discs.

I took off one star because there is no place to store the shredding disc stem. I usually use my food processor with the compact flat top and store the rest.
