This pan was a gift for my wife and 2 weeks after using it the black paint on the outside and the non stick coating started to chip. I don't run any of our cookware through the dishwasher and I don't use abrasive materials to clean them. I am a retired chef so I know my equipment and it's limitations. I thought that Cuisinart would be a good brand since I have one of their mixers going on 40 years now and it is still chooching. I called and emailed Cuisinart, sent pictures and nothing - not even a return email or call. They said they would send a replacement but nothing - not even an apology. No bueno Cuisinart and this is making me think twice about future Cuisinart purchases.

Buying My Second Pan After Four Years.

At the price it's like getting two pans for price of one. And and they will outlast any comparably priced individual nonstick. Just purchased my second set. I don't even make frittatas, but these can be used l as two great all purpose individual 10 inch skillets. The video is inspiring if one wants to try frittatas, but if you just want to pour scrambled eggs over quickly saluted vegetables, your eggs will be delicious that way too.

The company description says the finish lasts three to five years, but I've never had such luck with ANY non stick pan, have you? I use my pans at least once per day. I'm gentle with the cleaning, wiping with a soft cloth, and storing of my nonstick pans, but for me the longest the finish seem to last without sticking and using oil is about 2 years per pan.

This is an ideal size pan if you are downsizing portions or a senior household. It's easily maneuverable, without feeling like you are pressing weights. The handle is well riveted and doesn't get hot.

I never put my nonstick pans in the oven or dishwasher, nor did I ever make any acidic or wine based glazes or sauces. I use stainless steel skillets for that type of thing.

Ok, I have never purchased some fancy pan to make frittatas.....until now......let me tell you I can make some good omolets, eggs sunny side up, eggs Benedict, breakfast scrambles....and pretty much anything else you can think of involving eggs.....I always thought my Frittatas were ok and did not need this pan.....My wife bought it for me and holy crap man......I had no idea what I was missing.....this thing is awesome! I made a meaty frittata yestersay with Shallots, home made Chorizo, sharp cheddar cheese.....turned out great.....I have veggies Frittatas....they turn out excellent, I have made various combos of meat and veggies.....always and consistently good.....I really enjoy these pans....it sonsilly how simple it and how well everything comes out......My favorite part of these little pans is how easy to clean they are and the fact I make a 12 egg Frittata with burning it.....and completely cooked.....Get it!

Perfect for pancakes!

These pans are great quality and useful by themselves as well as a set. Cleanup is super-easy requiring only wiping them down with paper towels.

I use these to make keto / no carb pancakes with eggs and cream cheese. Normally they can be kind of tough to flip. With these, before I start mixing I place each pan on its own burner. When the pans are up to temp I pour the entire mixture into one pan and cook for five minutes. I then insert the other pan (already warmed up) and flip the whole assembly for another three minutes. Works absolutely perfectly.

This set of pans appear individually to be well-made but the set I received do not close together. For some reason the handles are not formed correctly and cause a gap between the closed pans. I think it may be just this particular set because in the Cuisinart clip I see the pans fit together well. I am returning this set. Also, I did note that these were made in China and I do try to buy USA items when I can.

Not washing friendly pans with the rivets inside the pan.

We are throwing these pans away because I refuse to wash them. The food sticks around the rivets and hard to get clean. First time my husband (the cook and person who order these pans) made a omelet the omelet stuck to both pans and especially around the rivets. Really hard to master the reversing with two heavy pans (arthritis hands/weak wrists beware). I do the dishes after my husband cooks our meals. First you have a non-stick pan then you need to use the scratcher on the the rivets that aren't non-stick. What was the designers thinking? Bet they never wash them! I show my husband how to cook a omelet without flipping it. How to cook on a lower temperature - 5 to start to melt a couple tablespoons of spread, gently scraping the edges over to let the runny part runs under to cook, when set but still wet on top lower the temperature to 3 electric stove, put the onions, tomatoes, ham, cheese slices, etc. on the omelet, put lid on until cheese melts. Yummy. He cuts it in half to take out of the pan for two servings for us. We use egg beaters too. Anyway a new 10" non-stick frying pan with no rivets inside the cooking area is on the way. I have never hated a pan more than I do Cuisinart Frittata 10-Inch Nonstick Pan Set.

Great pan. Like any other non-stick pan you have to treat it with care. Do not put you burner on High. You don't need to. It works perfect on medium temperature. The two halves lock in perfectly well. Just do not push the top pan all the way in. They match very well.
Also be very careful when cleaning. Let it cool off first. Do not clean when hot. Its on the instructions and also it makes sense. I've made the most delicious Spanish omelets with this pan.

The "flips" were easy with these pans hooked together. I'll do a couple tweaks to the recipe but the frittata cooked perfectly! Today I did omelettes and again, easy and great. We have a bed and breakfast so these pans will be used a lot. I just ordered another set so that I can make more than one item for breakfast at a time. Love these.
