Politicians Lie

Cheap trick that ruins an otherwise good food processor.

It seems that the people who design these machines DO NOT USE THEM! It looks like that the shredding and slicing blades stop fitting properly after the 10 cup processors. The gap grows between the hopper wall and the disc as the hopper goes up in size. When shredding cabbage the fine shred is beautiful, but full of large chunks that fall between the gap. What do I need a processor for ? They even say in the instruction manual that chunks will fall into the properly shredded cabbage. GET THIS … They say "Just pick them out" Again, why spend hundreds for a Food Processor that makes ME still work by hand?

The motor is not powerful and Cuisinart support line is never available

This product had continued motor slow down issues. The accessories wobble and it will not even process butter without stopping. I tried numerous times to contact Cuisinart only to have my call dropped or experience excessive wait times and then be dropped. Amazon however has a great return process and I am so thankful I ordered from them to make the return easier.

Not Your Mother's Food Processor

The most important thing I noticed is how cheaply it appears to be made. All very plasticy (not sure that's a word, but you get what I mean) My old one was really heavy and sturdy. Lasted many years. All that broke was the bowl handle and I can't find another bowl, but I'll keep trying. I don't feel this one will last very long. It doesn't feel very sturdy while it's running and doesn't seem to blend as well as quickly. I thought the smaller bowl would let me do all the features but not so. Sad.....

It has worked well for me over a year but the top is cracked. I'm not hard on the machine, so I just believe it isn't made well. The plastic is thin and didn't hold up and the top cracked so now I'll have to purchase that part of the machine. I do use it often, but for the price you'd think the lid wouldn't crack
