Very impressive! I bought this for the easy grip silicone handles. I doubt that I will bake anything at the maximum 450 degrees, but nice to know this pan can withstand that temperature. I have several cast iron bread baking pans, but I needed this for a chocolate Babka bread. (Chocolate swirl-yum). The recipe said chocolate doesn't do good in cast iron. That's the first time I've heard of that, but I needed a non stick bread pan anyway.
A lot of my breads have added ingredients that make the overall dough larger than normal. (Cheese, cranberries etc.) This pan is larger than my cast iron pans and it holds the bigger dough. I will be getting another one. Cuisinart quality is worth the price.
The 4 cup of flour loaf fit perfectly in this pan. Just a note to remind you to use oven mitts. The small silicone "dots" on the underside of the pan aren't enough to keep you from burning yourself. Why didn't they put a large silicone pad on the underside like they did on top? And frankly, they need to have the silicone go all the way around the edges and under the handles.
