The first time I tried one, I popped the handle into two pieces, but I shoved them back together and have made half a dozen more popsicles with it and it hasn't come apart again -- can't even tell which one it was.
Don't try to force the popsicle out and you'll be A-OK. Run it under hot water for a few seconds and tug at the handle gently. Doesn't slide out? Run it under the water a few more seconds. Worth the wait.
Only issue is that the handle doesn't catch much melting. I usually drip on myself, but that's half the point of a popsicle.
