Granted, I have had this set of measuring cups and spoons for 10 years but from the high price I paid initially, I never expected I'd have to replace them. I am now without the use of my most used one cup measuring cup, after the handle fell off in the dishwasher and reluctant to have to purchase a whole set to replace that one cup.In all other ways this set has lived up to expectations.

I was worried about the accuracy of these when I saw some of the reviews. We all know that accuracy is paramount in a measuring cup. I took a chance and ordered these, and I'm happy I did. I did test them. I used a food scale to see if the amount of water measured out was corresponding to the weight expected. I used water because it is very level and has a known weight. Just about anything else has a fair amount of deviation with how hard the substance gets packed. I found all the spoons to be pretty much perfect. The cups were very close, I think the 1/3 was a little off, but for my purposes close enough.
These are very sturdy. I've used them very heavily and I'm not showing any signs of wear, which I appreciate. They allow you to really get into the flour or sugar and scoop easily. It may not be for everyone. I'm more home chef than baker, but for me, quite good.

These are extremely sturdy, high quality measuring tools. I have other cheaper/thinner stainless measuring cups and spoons that I've had forever, but I decided to splurge on new ones and I liked the idea of the oval shape of these for scooping directly out of containers. It has certainly been helpful for that compared to round cups. They're heavier than I'm used to which I like, very substantial but not unwieldy or anything. I don't think I could bend the handles easily if I tried. I took the hook (which is very nice and easily detachable, but secure if left on) right off the measuring cups to use them individually, but I keep the ring on the spoons. I've been putting them in the dishwasher and they come out perfectly. I think they are on the expensive side for measuring tools, but after using them, the price seems worth it to me since they are very well made and enjoyable to use for cooking - I appreciate any little thing that makes it more enjoyable. I love using these and go to these first before any of my other sets, and now only use the others when these are in the dishwasher :)

Briefly, I bought this set just two weeks ago ($15 cheaper too). At $33 for both measuring cups and spoons, I felt like this was a great deal considering Cuisipro's quality. I have had many of their kitchen utensils for years and they are still like new.

Love the shape -- very innovative. Getting into spice jars and baking tins makes it much easier with the shape. Also, the handles are longer than normal cups (as compared to OXO and Williams Sonoma ones I also have) which again can be helpful getting into jars, etc. Because of the oblong design and long handles, the smallest measuring cup (1/4 cup) CANNOT sit on the counter if you are doing mise-en-place/ prep work. They tip over which is annoying. I am still keeping them for the $32 I paid but would not if they were the price listed now ($47). BTW, the quality in terms of etching of measurements and sturdiness of stainless steel is excellent.

For some reason, the 1/4 cup measure I received has the size stamped on the underside of the handle instead of the top, like all of the other measuring cups and spoons. (See photo.)

It’s not the worst thing ever, but it’s annoying and inconvenient enough that I will probably return them. It’s too bad because these seem very sturdy and like they will last a lifetime.

I love the oval shape of these cups and spoons, and use them all the time. I wouldn't put the cups in the dishwasher, as the handles are glued on, but they are pretty sturdy. I wish there were more measuring cups out there that were one solid piece. The spoons are less sturdy than I had hoped, and could be bent if you tried, but overall I am happy with them. Markings are etched on the handles nicely.
