The story was well done! No sex scenes, no bad language........a real relief ...just a pleasant story. I would recommend this to a general audience. Hard to do today. Also, great to see an actor David Ojalvo on the screen!!

Sweet Rom-Com
Verified purchase
I'm giving this 5 stars in the rom-com genre. I've been feeling down and then I watched this. The storyline brought a smile to my lips. It is a very sweet story and the main characters are extremely likeable. Plus - possibly a little spoiler - the woman saves the man so that's a nice twist from a usual fairytale. And I love coffee and romance. So what is not to like? Just relax, enjoy, and don't over think it.

They Don't Sell Us on The Chemistry Between Characters
Verified purchase
It was a decent movie if you're home on a rainy day with nothing else to watch. The story line is a good basis, but they don't develop the chemistry between the two main characters enough to make it believable. The female lead is more obsessed with her career aspirations than with love, and she doesn't seem to display any interest in the main character, even as he's taking her our for a night of fun. They don't flirt, they have zero interest in each other until someone else suggests it, and even then, the love story was poorly developed. Just not believable. We need to fall in love with their love and it was more like a bland cup of coffee.

Don't bother

I just could not even get through half the movie. So obvious and the acting is horrible. No chemistry,no passion except for the aunt. Great scenery but that is not a reason to see a movie. Horrible.

I like corny but don't watch ..

Listen. The main girl, not good acting, seriously. The first 20 mins I almost stopped because (in the first 5 mins) there was cussing and the acting on her part was rough. There's also a scene where she "falls" in the river and it was very sexualized. On a business interview she wears a low cut top, not very professional.
Everything about The ex girlfriend is sexualized
You might think I'm being a prude but it says for 7+
And listen...i enjoy these cheesy hallmark corny love stories. This though, i couldn't finish. The main guy diego is super hott though haha that's why I stayed in until half way through but then I was interrupted but couldn't get myself to finish.
All together, cringworthy acting by the leading lady which made it hard to watch and not all clean and "hallmarking" like it suggested

I like the story but parts are unbelievable
Verified purchase
The romance itself is good but there were parts that were just not believable. Like she arrives at the compound and there are big flying roaches flying all around here. Then suddenly they disappeared never to have been seen again. What nonsense. A place like that is full of roaches and they should have been seen on the walls and throughout the movie but we never see them again. And how do they run an organic bean farm with roaches all around? They should have all kinds of health issues with that. The second part that was unbelievable was the ex girlfriend. The guy didn't have enough boundaries with her otherwise she wouldn't have kept pursuing him.

A feel-good romantic comedy
Verified purchase
I really liked the movie. I liked that the aunt played such a nice, low-key, yet vital role in this movie. She could see the importance of change from a long-standing tradition. I enjoyed her wisdom and calming nature. The food scientist was great. I felt like she was a real character. Her ingenuity, while keeping with the values of the coffee plantation was wonderful. She had such commitment. The main male character, Diego, the plantation owner, besides being hot, was fun and likable, even though his character could have been better developed ... the "other woman" was just plain mean and conniving. It did have a fun twist at the end, wish they would have spent more time on the ending, though. It was a bit abrupt.

Worst hallmark I have seen

The acting was horrible. This is also the most risque hallmark I have seen. I look for a wholesome, fun rom-com and this was too much on all fronts.
