Nice But Maybe Unnecessary

These are nice, I got the red ones to go with my black interior. I have a thing for red and black together. Maybe from having grown up watching the A-Team with the big red stripe on the black van? Anyway, the mats are nice. A little thin, which is generally good because they don't take up too much space. And one or two of them were a little turned up at first, but after sitting for a day or two, they flattened out. I used the double-sided tape for the back seat cupholders, since they are usually vertical and tucked away. So it's nice they provide the tape. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is two-fold. First, I'm not sure these are even necessary; it's not like they make a seal that would protect against any spill greater than a small splash or two. And second, the biggest piece that goes in the main center console under the elbow rest doesn't actually fill the whole bottom. Presumably because the floor of it curves up at such a steep angle that if this mat went all the way up it would probably fold over and fall. I think. But that could've been solved with a double-sided sticky/velcro type sticker. So overall I'm not sure what the point of having a semi-complete center console piece is. And in that same console, the little coin/misc holder- they just have two slim mats that cover the dipped part of the holder instead of making something that covers the whole bottom of it. It seems a little nonsensical and unnecessary to have it at all if it doesn't cover the whole bottom. Anyway, these are nice, they are as intended, but they have some shortfalls that makes me question the point of the purchase.

Most everything fits well and the company is clearly trying hard to create a quality product/user experience. I wasn't clear how the largest pad that goes into the center console is supposed to fit. The base of the center console slopes up to the top rim at the rear. The pad is too short to cover both the flat part and the sloping part, so not sure if the pad is supposed to be pushed forward or what. Would be great if the pad were made longer to cover the entire base and slope. The instructions were also not clear on how to position this piece, so I had to rely on scant photos, but it still doesn't look right.

The product does not fit properly.
On the packaging, they tried to hide a product sticker (by putting another sticker on top of it). When I was able to peel back the sticker, it indicated the product is for a Chevy Equiox, 3rd Gen. The sticker on top of that said Tesla Model 3.
I suspect that they are trying to sell a Chevy Equinox accessory, but claiming it is a custom Tesla Model 3 accessory. Just my theory...
In any event, the accessory DOES NOT FIT my cupholders -- so I'll send it back.

Usually when something has 5 stars and it's for a 'premium' product like a Tesla you can count on it being pretty good. But I can't really say I'm a fan of these and i'm confused how everyone rated them 5 stars. I suppose they will 'take one for the team' and collect the dirt and protect some of the original materials in the car but beyond that they aren't adding much aesthetic appeal or functionality to the car.

The original cup and front center console compartments inserts that come with car are much sturdier, better fitting materials with a nicer finish than these. The piece that goes into the rear arm rest compartment is a joke - it is about 4-5 inches too short and has no adhesion to the carpeted interior of the compartment. They should have at least thrown some velcro on the back because there's nothing to keep it in place and it will just slide around and flop over on itself.

Order your wraps from theses guys!! Seriously, you’ll love the sleek look. I went with matrix and couldn’t be happier. Check out their videos they are super helpful with lots of tips. Even though I did I decided to start with the center section instead of the rear cup holder one. Have no fear the cup holder one is easier than you think. They provide a spare for that one too. I goofed the center one and they sent out a replacement no questions asked. The updated wraps include strips for the phone bar that snap out to the side hiding the charging cables as well as the top of the console right below the display. You’ll love they way it looks when you’re done. Cheers.!

Wish I'd known about this set when I bought my Tesla. These were easy to place inside the console and other related spots of my car. I'm not sure where one of them is supposed to go, but the others have all been easily placed.
I'd seen these on Amazon and put them in my shopping cart but was hemming and hawing about whether I should spend the $ on them. I wasn't sure I'd need it. Then, one day I'd accidentally left my hammer gel (open slightly) in my console and it dripped down into my center pocket (I'm an avid cyclist and use it for quick fuel. It is STICKY). What a mess to clean up with all the paperwork and other items that were in that pocket. Fortunately I was able to use wipes to clean most of it up, but I wish I'd installed this first! I immediately ordered these after cleaning up my mess. I like the added color to the interior and added protection to my car. It was an inexpensive way to add a little interior bling, with function. Buy and install these BEFORE you need them. It's preventative maintenance that's fairly inexpensive.
