I'm really enjoying the latest stories from this author, they all kinda revolve around each other (because the Highborn keeps being mentioned) but they stand alone very well from each other, and are still separate stories.
I also like that in this Shiloh and Kullen aren't the traditional omega and alpha type characters that we often see. Shiloh has a backbone and went out on his own to do what he wanted with his career and life, and Kullen loves gardening, flowers, and isn't as brash and in-your-face alpha like some are. They compliment each other very well and I loved reading about them getting to know each other. They had great chemistry together, and that is a must for me in a story.
There were some fun moments and funny parts involving their families meeting, as well as things to do with pot and cupcakes haha, that I really enjoyed reading about. It's a bit more light-hearted than her other series, although you don't have to have read those at all to get into this story.
I look forward to more shifters and mpreg from this author!
with the threat of the highborn gone Shiloh is ready to live his life and start a family. so he joins a dating site and when he met his first match he knew within himself this man is the one. Kullen has given up dating for so long because he feels his is not alpha enough for a mate, even after meeting Shiloh Kullen is still trapped by that insecurity. that insecurity is throughout the window when Shiloh becomes pregnant with their child in that moment Kullen knew he was just the right alpha for his mate.
"I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book."
Unfortunately, something happened about halfway through the book. It was as though some of the writing tone changed (primarily dialogue from one of the MCs). In addition, the grammar and spelling errors started to make it less pleasant to read. For the first time, I considered stopping reading one of Eola Eden's books. I kept with it but it pains me to me leave a less than positive review for a book that had a unique storyline. Perhaps the book could be edited better and the updated? Just a thought. I can accept a few spelling or grammar errors but the last half of this book was just really difficult to get through.
