Nice under sink shelves, the included hinges need soft close dampers to prevent the door from slamming shut.
I installed this on a vanity with a square sink and the left and right shelves fit perfectly under the sink. The Stowaway shelf kit comes with left and right shelves but came with one pair of hinges to install on a large single false door. My vanity had two upper false doors, so I needed to ordered another pair of hinges for the second door. I ordered the "Rev-A-Shelf Sink Front Tip-Out Hinge - 1 Pair" . These hinges are the exact ones included with this Stowaway shelf kit.
The hinges included does have some sort of spring loaded tension that keeps the door close but does snap the doors close pretty fast and hard. I installed cabinet door bumpers and soft close dampers. I ordered "Innovala Corner Soft Close Cabinet Door Dampers", they are made in Germany and are pretty good quality. The dampers worked well, but I did need to add another screw to properly secure the damper as the included single screw was not secure enough because the dampers were originally meant to be installed at the corner of the door frame to be properly secured. To use a second screw to secure the dampers I did need to drill a hole for the second screw. I drilled the first hole on the top large enough for the screw head to fit thru and I drilled another hole at the bottom for the screw thread.
The Stowaway shelves worked great but the included hinges only work well with the soft close dampers. Would have gave 5 stars if the Stowaway shelf kit came with a pair of good soft close dampers.

Best thing I did before installing? I watched their YouTube video! Highly recommend anyone else doing the same as the printed instructions are someone difficult to grasp unless you're a seasoned handy-person. I'm just a single gal who wants some organization and this video made it so much easier for me to understand what I was getting myself into. I move slowly, but I'd say it took me about 30 minutes to have both shelves fully installed (minus the hinges as my vanity already had them).
Some things I wish I had looked at more closely before buying include:
* Width of my sink. I have an over-sized basin and while these shelves include a cutout for the curvature of the sink, they were a bit too wide to actually fit snugly to the side of the sink. However, I was able to install them at a slightly downward angle to overcome this.
* What's behind the false drawer? I don't know what this is officially called, but the support bar that holds the false drawer has sideways cutouts inside to allow for attaching it directly to the rest of the cabinet. Had I not looked into the area before drilling I wouldn't have seen this and would then have put holes into an area that couldn't hold the screws. I took some pictures and will try to upload them to show you what I mean.
* What's on the inside on the side of the cabinet? Like another reviewer, my vanity actually has drawers on the side of the sink. So instead of two "walls" to attach the sides of the shelves to, I actually had a drawer guide. Luckily there was a hole in the guide (intended, but I'm not sure for what), so I was able to insert a screw and nut to hold the side of the shelf up. I'll try to include a picture of that as well. I think a zip-tie would work just as well.
Someone else mentioned that they do come with hinges to turn a truly false drawer into a flip-down door. Huge bonus! But don't look at the actual pictures listed by the company, as they do not accurately reflect what they send. Instead, look at their drawing (last picture). Their hinges mount to the vertical side of the opening. Fortunately I already had the hinges in my house, but another reviewer mentioned it in their review and I noticed that the pictures don't match what I actually received. I think it's awesome the hinges are included, but please keep in mind where you'll be installing them when deciding to order.
Like another reviewer, I was frustrated at paying $12.50 for shipping when purchasing from Amazon; but I was unable to get the actual company's website to play nice enough to make me feel comfortable buying from them for the first time. If I ever need an additional set, I will definitely save the cashola and buy directly from them.

Suggestions for install from a very small woman/things I wish they told me:
1. Watch the video. Many many times.
2. Careful with screwing the spacers into the side walls. The screws may come out the other side so don’t sink them in all the way.
3. I wish I owned some clamps. The videos recommend it. In my case I had a second helper stand over me to “clamp” the plastic to the cross beam.
4. Getting the darn false panel off was really frickin hard. Whoever built this cabinet sunk in SO many god damn staples and nails into the thing. It was perhaps the hardest/longest thing to do. I found a chisel and mallet. And slowly wedged that between wood and false panel and popped it out. My poor false panel has a lot of dings because of it. But oh well.
5. No you don’t have to fit under the sink to install this. I just liked being able to see where I was pointing the drill.
My big hair dryer doesn’t actually fit on the tray. But I was able to prop the head on the end of the tray so the whole thing can close. The other side fits my straight iron and a tiny foldable hair dryer. All of this does wonders for the organization under my sink cabinet. I wish my other bathroom sink was wide enough to install this. (It’s not.)
