I got this before traveling to Asia this summer. It is about half the size of a regular curling iron. Less than half of the weight also. I like the teeth on it so you do not need to bring your own curling rollers. The teeth also acts as protection to your scalp and your hand. The iron plate will not get close to your skin. If you have the traditional curling iron touching your face once, you know how painful it is. Overall, a good purchase, price is decent as well.

I got the smaller travel size because my hair is only about shoulder length, so this does the trick nicely. It heats up super quick and the tip at the end stays cool so you can use that to help guide it. I actually have naturally curly hair, but it's quite dry and doesn't curl up as much in Winter, so this adds some life. I also very much appreciate its ability to smooth out my frizz. Sometimes my curls are OK as is, but so frizzy that I'll do a quick run through with the curling iron and everything gets smoothed out nicely.
The other surprise was how long the curls hold. I'll set in the morning and everything still looks great in the evening. In fact, sometimes the following day my hair is still looking fine with just a quick comb-through.
I've got no gripes yet (have been using for several months now). Nice size, easy to use, smooths out frizz and creates beautiful soft curls. Wish my old curling iron had died years ago!
