This is a generalized, brief overview of the foreign currency markets. That is all. That's great that the author made almost 8 million for his bank! How did he do it?!....WHO KNOWS???!!! Because he sure as hell doesn't tell you how in the book.
There is no vialble trading strategy, there is no evidence as to the trade setups the author takes. Furthermore, there is no actual proof that the author even has ever made a dime trading the FX market; wether it be for himself or for an investment bank.
I was hoping to gain at least a couple of nuggets from this book. Unfortunately for me, I found it to be a waste of time and money.
The fact of the matter is that someone that has never even traded the FX markets could have written this book.
I'm very disappointed.
Remember this, the forex market is the wild west of financial markets. There is very little regulation. This is a 3 trillion dollar a day market. You can make a fortune (doesn't mean you will). Self appointed gurus like the author know this and play newcomers like a violin. The author looks to suck you in by conjuring up feelings of greed. It's no surprise he puts in the title, "Forex spot monkey who made millions for his investment bank." In the book he claims he made his investment bank 8 million dollars in a two year period. Funny how there is no mention of the actual trades within this two year period or even a hint of the system he used to gain 8 million dollars. Oh and by the way, which investment bank is this? How can we verify it? The answer is we can't. This isn't some book from a financial publishing group like Wiley or Bloomberg where we can verify facts. The author published this himself using the self-publishing website Lulu. Any charlatan can do this. There is no possible way to verify his claims. Do not believe him!
If you are interested in the forex market please know you have a long road ahead of you, it will not be easy. You can get a strong foundation by visiting the babypips website.
