First off I’d like to point out it got here sooner than stated, so I’m happy about that. It came in a bubble envelope, so the packaging iffy, especially since I had two other dvd cases in there. Of course, all items damaged. No surprise there, sadly.

Okay, obviously since I’ve bought this, I love SpongeBob. Of course there are favorites and not so favorite episodes, to each their own. However, this isn’t a review on SpongeBob, it’s a review on the actual product. I’ve got season 1-9 now that I have this season, however.. As per usual, this case broken. Just like all but one season. (The only reason it didn’t come broken, is probably because it was newly released, season 9.)

The pic I have is just part of it. The usual cracks, there was plastic rattling inside too. Fortunately the discs weren’t everywhere, but if it was jostled more than necessary they could’ve easily popped off. The unfortunate thing was the first disc was scratched bad. I’ve popped it into the player, hoping it will play fine though. I probably won’t bother asking for a new set unless it plays horribly, since I’ve been through this more times than I can count. Along with spending 3 times more than I paid for one of the seasons, when I didn’t have to, just to get a replacement. Just not worth the headache. The ONLY reason this got a 3 star, is because I love SpongeBob, and I can’t really blame the show for how horribly designed it’s cases are.

Personally, I feel that season 7 is not looked on like some of the more popular seasons, such as seasons 2, 3, or 5. So I'm writing up a great review for season 7, which left me laughing almost forever and sitting on my couch with my dog in my lap while eating. This season contains many great episodes, including its own story arc! Fan favorite episodes include, "Model Sponge", "Tentacle-Vision", "SpongeBob's Last Stand", "Summer Job", "Gary in Love", "The Play's the Thing", and the entire "Legends of Bikini Bottom" story arc. Needless to say, this DVD comes at a great price for great episodes! Definitely worth the 9+ hours of hilarious tomfoolery and humor!

We loved SpongeBob and have for years. This season is disappointing. Sort of dumb and much scarier. My three year old grandson keeps saying scary scary weird to this season and never has to others. Not as appropriate for young kids, so the appeal of watching together is lost. I wish I would have not wasted $10. Watch on prime for free and save your money on buying this one.

I boought this from Amazon a month or 2 ago, & I've already seen all of the episodes @ least 3 times (some moreso). I'm 38 years old, & my girlfriend's 7 year old daughter got me into SponngeBob about 2&1/2 to 3 years ago. Since then, I've purchased the Movie, & a bunch of the 'grab-bag' DVDs w/ various episodes on them. But now, I want the Complete Seasons! I collect all of my other favorite TV shows on DVD (i.e., The Entire "Law & Order" Franchise, Criminal Minds, 24, The "C.S.I. Franchise, Sons Of Anarchy, Flashpoint, etc.,), so why not collect the yellow dude? Several of my Top 10's are on THIS Season alone! 'Tentacle Vision', 'A Day W/out Tears', 'The Monster Who Came To Bikini bottom'(part of the 6 Episode "Legends Of..." Series), & 'Big Sister Sam' (Patrick is my fave character, so any Ep. w/ or about him I love) are all on this 1 set. I couldn't believe it! & how could you beat the price-I didn't even price compare, as I knew I wouldn't find it for less anywhere else (I'm referring to stores & REPUTABLE websites)! Season 7 is pure comedy genius-or as Patrick would say; "Gee-nee-us"! Since, I've purchased Season 8, & I'm actually getting Season 3 delivered to me TODAY--All from Amazon, of course-where else? This is a 4-DVD Set in the 'Tray-Stack' packing format. The HD picture is great, & the sound option is Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo Surround (no 5.1 on Spongebob)BUT the 2.0 is actually better than most other Dolby 2.0 Surround's that I've heard-even on films & live-action TV DVDs that I own (& believe me I own a boatload-no SpongeBob pun intended)! I guess that they make the Surround better for the kids. But the Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo Surround IS BETTER than film & TV 2.0. The Bonus Feature 'Shorts' are just that; short, but funny as all heck! This is a feast for fans of SpongeBob Squrepants & Co. regardless of your age!

DVDs came in quicker than I expected. Upon opening, I discovered the inside disc holders were all broken and the DVDs were not held in place. Didn't play at first, but played after a few mintues.

I have loved Spongebob ever since it first came out. It is nostalgic for me and great to have on when I just want to relax or need some background noise. Young or old, Spongebob is a lighthearted cartoon that is sure to lift anyone's spirit.

Although my 4 year old granddaughter purchased it without me knowing, I guess they learn how to use technology early.I let her use my phone to watch cartoons on Amazon Prime when we travel.

I am an adult fan of Spongebob & live right above Bikini Bottom & I am watching the DVD's I just got today & have to say that season 7 rocks!! The episodes writing is funny again, so is the animation, really good quality episodes & they let you buy the whole seasons instead of divided into 2 half seasons.
It is 4 DVD's that are several hours long. I will watch these over again. The writing is better than previous seasons as a whole & Spongebobs voice is back to normal sounding like in the old episodes. Funny stuff!!
