The story is about and 18 year old with all the "trauma and angst" teenagers deal with. But the story was interesting and so I didn't just quit reading. Glad I didn't because it is entertaining and a bit of fresh air after the usual "rape and ravishing" tales. Liked it well enough to order the second book in the series.

This book is one of the best ones I have readers! I love stories about the Scots...the romance and the battles are so good you can't put this book down. I'm going to tell all my friends and whoever else that will listen, that this is a really awesome read. You won't be able to put it down. Please tell me the rest o f the series is going to be released in English. Please!

I really enjoyed the story and hope she will write another one that continues this one. It had romance and intrigue. No foul language which is always nice not to read. It was not mushy but just right. I thought it was great.

Good characters that blended well with the story line. Hopefully we will get Sean's story next. I strongly recommend this book

Good story line, cheesy at times. Had a hard time putting it down and wanting to reach into the screen and strangle the main character.

I was half asleep one night and I accidentally bought your book and I decided to read it. Nice touch using the highlander movie as a reference, I have seen them all, I now look forward to see how the rest of the series continues, one of my better accidents, might I add. Thank you
