Curvit® original is ALMOST OUT OF STOCK. NOW 53% OFF CurviTM Next-Generation (Self-Expanding Shower Liner) available for PRE-ORDER at http://curvi.co. Get Early-Bird Price & Free Shipping. Limited Quantity. Get Yours by 9/16 (not in stores until Spring 2017). Curvit® is a unique set of 12 rings & arches that curve your curtain away. It's stylish, simple and discreet. Works with any standard shower curtain or liner, or both. Why bother with a curved shower curtain rod? Curvit® has shiny steel rings that fit any standard straight 1" shower rod. And it works on the inside: holds your shower curtain from blowing in. Add any outer decorative curtain. Keep your bathroom style. For best results, use Curvit® with a standard 72-inch length, thin or medium weight shower curtain, between 5 and 8-gauge, and normal 1-inch tube shower rod. Curvit® is not recommended for short or heavy curtains. Your curtain will lift, but only a bit. Curvit® hangs your curtain from a higher point, about 2-3-inch, so a 70-inch short shower curtain is not recommended. It might not leave enough fabric at the bottom to stay in the tub. Thankfully, most standard curtains are 72-inch long. So we designed for that length. Also, be sure your shower rod is at a standard height. Every home is different. No Tools. No Leaks. With Curvit®, your shower curtain stays snug inside your tub and wall. The 12 arches apply a subtle, soft curving pressure to the mid-section ... like an invisible valet holding your curtain away. So Curvit® gently delivers a rounded shower curtain effect in the middle. So why bother installing a bowed shower rod? It's hardware for a handyman. Besides, curved rods can sag downward as they lose grip or if the bolts aren't perfectly aligned -- which leads to curtain gaps and messy leaks. Not with Curvit®. Push back against curtain cling and block messy leaks.

My husband is 6'3" and broad shouldered, so he always had a problem with not having enough room in the shower. When I learned about Curvit and watched the video about it, we had to try it. We have a standard size tub/shower combo, so I figured since the Curvit would bring out the shower liner a bit, I bought a longer shower liner just in case. When first receiving it, it doesn't look like much, but the directions are easy to follow. You just have to extend out the 6 rods (become 12 hooks). We then connected them, one by one, to our shower liner before putting the liner back up on the rod. You then spread it out so that the rods are even. It only recommends using the clips on the outside to clamp the liner to the curved parts, but I think it's a must. It makes it A LOT easier to open and close the the liner. We used all the plastic clips included. All in all, it took about 20 minutes, which is a little longer than what it claims to take, but then again we are both disabled. What a difference it makes though! We measured it and it adds another six inches of upper-body space!!! The only negative I can say is that it can be tricky to close, ie. getting it to stay close enough to the wall of the shower so water doesn't leak out. You get the hang of it after a while (we've had it about 2 weeks). My husband is so happy now that the shower liner doesn't cling to him anymore!!! Thank you Curvit!!!

I was a bit skeptical about these, but quite surprised once I was actually in the shower. Keep in mind... They do cause the curtain to come inward near the top of the shower, which I was expecting not really thrilled about. If you're 6'3" or taller, this MIGHT be an issue - I don't know. I'm 6' and found that I never even noticed it.

After reading some of these reviews, I was concerned about breakage, but I don't know why people are complaining. What are you doing with them? These are not monkey bars. Keep that in mind and I think you'll be fine.

Installation was simple, although it does take a few minutes to get the 'optional' pieces in place to hold the curtain firmly to the hooks. At first, this didn't make sense to me, but the system works better with these in place - I definitely recommend using the 'optional' pieces.

Accuracy of description: It does curve the curtain away, if you can get the snaps to not break your curtain or hurt under your nails. They also don’t mention the fact that its two hooks on one so when they accidently cross on the rod you get a tangle of stick.
Usefulness: It does not let you close your shower curtain all the way, so air sneaks in from both sides. It also ripped my curtain. It was just a plastic curtain but now I have to buy another one. Neither my husband or I liked the hooks. Their newer product where they are part of the curtain would be a better buy when it comes out.
Pros: Easy to return.
Cons: Ripped the curtain, hurt my nails putting the snaps on to keep them in place over and over to get it in the right place, did not allow the curtain to close all the way, two hooks on one so they got tangled some.
Recommend to a friend: I would not recommend this to a friend, maybe an enemy, but not a friend.

The concept is great; however the product is too fragile. My first problem was that I did not know I could NOT use a regular weight liner. The clips don't work with standard or heavy liners so I could not secure the product by clipping pleats. Therefore, every time I opened or closed the shower curtain, the product shifted. After about a half dozen uses they began to snap and break.

Product does not function as described. The way it works is to raise the inner liner of your shower curtain up and further back into the shower by probably 6 or 7 inches by placing it on seperate hooks as the outer shower curtain, and the v shaped "fingers" push the curtain outwards. In essence you are producing a net loss of space in the shower, especially at the top, which is not the best fit for tall people. The outer curtain on the shower still hangs straight down as per normal instead of bowing out and "creating 50% more space" as the product describes. In addition the product is made from cheap plastic, it appears it will break after regular use. I installed on my shower then took immediatly off due to the poor design, Wish I could give this product zero stars. Avoid

My wife and I have a small shower and bought this after I came across it online somewhere as an alternative to a curved shower rod. I had hoped to make it feel a bit bigger, and the quote from Gizmodo on Curvit's site says that "Outward-Arched Curtain Hooks Make Any Shower Feel Gigantic". Ummmmmmmmm..........nope. Essentially the hooks that you put onto your curtain rod as part of the Curvit system take your innermost curtain or liner and move it inward, NOT outward, and the v-shaped plastic pieces that emanate from the hooks are supposed to create that curved look and make your small shower look cavernous. Just think about it. The product lifts your curtains up a few inches and actually brings them in closer in order to create an illusion of a curve, but the v-shaped pieces aren't that long and don't really take the inner curtain out any farther than the rod. My outer curtain was hanging straight down from the rod with no curve whatsoever, showing that the Curvit isn't affecting the way it hangs at all, and that there's no more space being created at all. The inner curtain is being brought inward many inches and up, then curves away some as it drapes. An actual curved shower rod would take my curtains and move them out away from the shower, not inward toward it, and would thus provide extra room. The Curvit seems like nothing more than an optical illusion, the illusion of more space at best. In my case, it didn't even provide much of an illusion. I returned this item immediately.

Oh, and it also comes with little clips that you need to install to keep the curtains straight because of the v-shape of the Curvit. They aren't fun to install as they are closed too tightly, and they fell off on me a couple of times during install. It was super annoying.
