    First let me say that I am not using this tripod for its intended purpose. I purchased this tripod as an economical solution to hold a vertical antenna for use in amateur radio. To that effect this tripod it FANTASTIC! I couldn’t have designed it any better to work for my application. Other purpose built tripods are much more expensive than this, and not nearly as light. This seems decently made and should have no trouble holding up in my use case. The bag that it comes with is very useful and also seems well made. It has the added benefit of giving me somewhere to store the whips for the antenna. The air cushioned extensions work perfectly for me and I love the fact that my antenna doesn’t come slamming down on my fingers when I take it down. I am very pleased with this tripod and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone.
